Some female friends still attach great importance to the hymen, but this membrane is very easy to rupture. Most female friends' hymens do not rupture during their virginity, but rupture accidentally during exercise. After the rupture, they will feel very embarrassed and want to undergo hymen repair surgery. Basically, this type of surgery will not leave ugly scars after the operation and can be restored to its original shape.

1. Central incision at the edge of the hymen tear

It is suitable for those with neat cleft edges, no obvious scar hyperplasia, and hymen thickness greater than 2mm. The operation is performed by making a longitudinal incision in the middle of the inner and outer edges of the tear, and then separating them to both sides appropriately. The incisions on both sides are connected at the base to form a wound surface, and then the inner and outer layers of the hymen are sutured at the edges respectively.

2. Remove the tissue at the edge of the tear and suture it

It is suitable for those with thick hymen, uneven rupture edges, obvious scar hyperplasia and re-rupture. Use a knife or small scissors to remove part of the ruptured edge of the hymen tissue and hypertrophic scar tissue in parallel to form a new wound surface. After properly separating the inner and outer layers of the vaginal mucosa, suture the edges separately.

3. Tiles are legal

It is suitable for those with various ruptured hymens, especially those with thin hymens, multiple ruptures, and many hymen tissue defects. During the operation, part of the vagina and posterior commissure mucosa should be removed in a fusiform shape, and then sutured together to reduce the size of the vaginal opening. Then the hymen on both sides of the incision is cut open, the inner mucosa on one side is cut off, and the outer mucosa on the opposite side is cut off, and then the wound surfaces of the hymen on both sides are sutured together.

The hymen is a circular mucosal fold at the external opening of the vagina. Its shape and thickness vary from person to person. The most common ones are half-moon or ring-shaped, while a few people have sieve-like or diaphragm-like shapes. After marriage or if you have a history of sexual life or have had trauma, the hymen will rupture. The remnant after the rupture is called the hymen scar, which mainly has three types: fissure shape, block shape, and chrysanthemum petal shape. Hymen repair is the process of repairing these scar fissures that lack sensation and blood supply.

1. Avoid activities that put stress on the perineum, such as sitting for long periods of time, riding a bicycle, squatting, and excessively spreading your legs, within 2 weeks after surgery.

2. No sitting bath is required after the operation. Just wipe it gently with a Cleansing cotton ball after defecation.

3. Keep the perineum dry, wear loose, cotton underwear, and do not use sanitary napkins.

4. If the wound ruptures again, it will take 2 to 3 months for the wound to heal before repair surgery can be performed again.

5. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, more crude fiber foods, drink more water, and avoid constipation.
