What are the signs of severe cervical erosion and cancer?

There are many types of gynecological diseases. Cervical erosion is a very harmful gynecological disease. If cervical erosion is not treated in time, the condition will worsen. Once cervical erosion becomes severe, there is a risk of cancer. Once cancerous, it may affect the patient's life safety. Most people will judge whether cervical erosion has become cancerous by some signs before cervical erosion becomes cancerous.

Signs of severe cervical erosion and cancer

If patients with cervical erosion delay treatment and care for a long time, it will eventually develop severe cervical erosion. The main symptom of severe cervical erosion is that the patient will have yellow leucorrhea, accompanied by symptoms such as blood in the leucorrhea. In addition, patients usually experience irregular vaginal bleeding, but this vaginal bleeding symptom is not normal menstruation. Patients with severe cervical erosion will also experience symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease and a series of physical discomforts, such as abnormal dysmenorrhea and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen. Patients with cervical erosion should undergo a cervical smear test before treatment to confirm whether there is a possibility of cancer. If the patient does not have cancer, physical therapy can be used. If cancer is found, surgical treatment is required.

Severe cervical erosion can be completely cured, usually by physical therapy. Patients can use freezing and laser to damage the columnar epithelium at the eroded site and kill it, which will then gradually fall off, allowing new cervical squamous epithelium to grow. This method is the most widely used treatment method for severe cervical erosion, as it takes a relatively short time and is more effective.

However, this treatment method is likely to affect the quality of sexual life of the couple because the surgery will damage the nerve sensitivity of the vaginal wall and there is a possibility of recurrence. Severe erosion can also be treated surgically. If the affected area is large and affected by inflammation, cervical polyps or cervical hypertrophy may occur, both of which must be removed surgically.

Patients with severe cervical erosion should eat more refreshing and delicious food in their daily life, as well as vegetables and fruits rich in protein and vitamins, such as cucumbers, tofu, crucian carp, apples and bananas. It is strictly forbidden to eat spicy and irritating foods. Patients with severe cervical erosion should not eat too much tonic food, such as donkey-hide gelatin, red dates, longan, etc. I wish my friends a speedy recovery.

Cervical erosion needs to change. It is just a type of cervicitis. There is no necessary relationship between it and cervical cancer. It is impossible for cervical erosion-like changes to suddenly lead to cancer. There is a long process between them, and there is a gradient change. If the cervix undergoes erosion-like changes, it may develop into cervical cancer, which requires at least three stages: the first is low-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, the second is intermediate-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and the third is high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.

At the same time as these lesions, most patients also have contact bleeding or bloody vaginal discharge. If the patient has erosive changes accompanied by these symptoms, you can choose to do cervical screening. The screening items include cervical CT and HPV. After these two preliminary screenings, more than 90% of possible cancerous cases can be screened out. The remaining 10% can be checked through colposcopy, cervical biopsy, or even hysteroscopy.
