How to care for cesarean section wound

Caesarean section is a delivery method currently chosen by more women. It can mainly help women reduce the pain of natural childbirth. Moreover, many families now do not give birth to too many children, so the use of caesarean section will not affect the health of the mother. However, pregnant women who undergo cesarean section should pay attention to wound care to avoid infection. The scab on the wound should not be removed too early and should not be exposed to moisture.

How to care for wounds after cesarean section

1. Do not remove the scab on the incision too early after surgery. Removing the scab too early and forcefully will take away the epidermal cells that are still in the repair stage, or even tear off the dermal tissue, and stimulate itching of the wound.

2. Avoid sunlight to prevent ultraviolet stimulation and pigmentation.

3. Apply some topical medications such as Fuqingsong, triamcinolone, dexamethasone, etc. to relieve itching.

4. Improve your diet and eat more fruits, eggs, lean meat, pork skin and other foods rich in vitamins C, E and essential amino acids. These foods can promote blood circulation and improve epidermal metabolism. Avoid eating spicy foods such as chili peppers, onions and garlic.

5. If you want scars to disappear completely and restore your skin to its original appearance, you need to use scar removal products to achieve ideal results.

6. Keep the scar clean and hygienic, wipe off sweat in time, do not scratch it with your hands, rub the scar with clothes or use water to relieve itching, so as not to aggravate local irritation, promote inflammatory reaction of connective tissue, and cause further itching.

7. After the scars and scabies are removed, silicone care dressings such as Mepiform should be used immediately to prevent scar hyperplasia, prevent scar hyperplasia and protrusions, increase pigmentation, and affect appearance. If the scars are long-term, they can also be treated with it to remove hyperplasia, dissipate pigments, etc.

1. The treatment area should not be exposed to water or rubbed on the day of treatment, and no medicine or ointment should be applied on your own.

2. After the operation, you can use an appropriate amount of repair factor to speed up the repair process, and avoid direct sunlight exposure, otherwise pigmentation is likely to occur.

3. During the treatment, it is recommended to use skin care products and repair masks containing sufficient moisture to replenish skin moisture in time to improve the efficacy, and sun protection is recommended.

4. The formed scab will generally fall off naturally in 5-10 days. It is strictly forbidden to tear it by hand.

5. During the treatment, avoid eating spicy and light-sensitive foods, such as peppers, beef, mutton, fish, shrimp, seafood, celery, coriander, white radish, mango, etc. Eat fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, lean meat, pork skin and other foods rich in vitamin C, E and essential amino acids for the human body to promote blood circulation and improve the metabolic function of epidermal cells.

6. Stop exposure to high temperatures (sunbathing, steam baths) or extremely cold environments during treatment.

7. Treatment requires multiple times, and each time is charged according to regulations, with follow-up visits every 1-3 months.
