What are the things to pay attention to one month before delivery?

When the due date is approaching, most pregnant women are very excited, especially when they think that they will meet their baby soon, they will feel happy. However, some new mothers will feel anxious one month before the due date. The closer it is to the due date, the more afraid they are. They have no parenting experience and don’t know what to pay attention to when giving birth.

Things to note one month before delivery

1. Exercise more

When the due date comes, mothers who choose natural birth should walk more. This will help the fetus enter the pelvis, promote the opening of the cervix, make the delivery smoother, and reduce the mother's pain. It is recommended not to choose a place that is too crowded when taking a walk. It is best to go to a park or other place with fresh air, which is also good for the baby's health!

2. Pay attention to your baby's fetal movements

In the third trimester, because the baby's body and other aspects are more mature, if the baby does not move often at this time, it is recommended that mothers walk more, pat their belly and communicate with the baby. If there is still no response, it is recommended that the expectant mother go to the hospital for a check-up to be more assured!

3. Prepare the items to be delivered

During the labor period, you should prepare all the items needed for delivery so that you will not be at a loss when going to the hospital to give birth. It is recommended that mothers and their husbands list the necessary items in detail, such as toiletries, postpartum sanitary napkins, wet wipes for babies, diapers, milk powder and milk products, etc., so that nothing is missed. It is recommended to prepare early in advance, so that you can buy and make up for it in time if you find any omissions!

Preparation for childbirth should be made one month in advance

The first thing is to be mentally prepared. You should have a certain understanding of the worries during the delivery process and should not have too much fear and terror, because delivery is a normal physiological phenomenon. Delivery is a process. As long as you cooperate closely with the hospital and midwives, this process is not too difficult. The second thing to do is to determine the hospital where you will give birth.

Generally, you go to the same hospital for antenatal check-up, but in an emergency, if the original hospital is far from home, you have to choose the nearest hospital. Be prepared for any eventuality and know what you are doing so that if an emergency occurs, you can execute the plan you prepared.

If anemia, heart disease, pregnancy-induced hypertension, malposition of the fetus, narrow pelvis, twins or other conditions are discovered during the prenatal examination, you should prepare for delivery in advance as ordered by the doctor to avoid accidents.

Again, personal hygiene preparations should be made. Pregnant women should change their underwear frequently a few days before the expected delivery, and wash the vulva, inner thighs and lower abdomen with soap and warm water every day. Wash again before delivery and try to keep the vulva area clean. You should make all the material preparations for delivery one month to two weeks in advance, prepare the clothes and daily necessities needed for yourself and your baby, put them together, fold them in a conspicuous place, and put them in a large portable bag to avoid emergency rush.
