What happens if you walk too much during late pregnancy?

In the late stages of pregnancy, the body of a pregnant woman will gradually become heavy, but even if the body becomes heavy, the pregnant woman must do appropriate exercise to help with delivery. Pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy should not over-exercise during exercise, because excessive exercise will not only make the pregnant woman's body feel tired, but may also cause harm to the fetus. So what happens if a pregnant woman walks too much in late pregnancy?

What happens if you walk too much during late pregnancy?

How long to exercise every day in the late pregnancy depends on the individual. Pregnant mothers exercise mainly to have strength for giving birth to the baby. They should exercise until they no longer feel tired. However, they should not exercise more in pursuit of fatigue and physical discomfort, as this will be counterproductive.

What should you pay attention to in late pregnancy

(1) The third trimester of pregnancy is approaching the date of delivery, so it is important to insist on prenatal checkups. From 28 to 36 weeks, check at least every two weeks; after 36 weeks, check every week.

(2) Improve nutrition, ensure sleep, pay attention to hygiene, and engage in appropriate exercise.

(3) Control salt intake, avoid overweight or squatting, avoid bathing, and refrain from sexual intercourse to avoid premature birth and premature rupture of membranes.

(4) Learn to monitor oneself and one’s family, including being able to listen to the fetal heart rate, count fetal movements, feel the fetal position, and measure the height of the uterus. If the fetal movement is less than 20 times in 12 hours, the fetal heart rate is less than 120 beats per minute, more than 160 beats per minute, or the movement is irregular, seek medical attention immediately.

(5) If any of the following five situations occur, you must go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately.

A. Vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal distension, frequent urination, 2-3 uterine contractions in 10 minutes (each contraction lasting more than 30 seconds);

B. Vaginal discharge or blood;

C. Edema of the lower limbs or even the whole body, headache, dizziness, vomiting, and increased blood pressure;

D. Regular or irregular uterine contractions before 37 weeks;

E. The due date has exceeded 10 days.

The late pregnancy is the last stage for the pregnant mother and the fetus in her belly. After this stage, the pregnant mother can meet the baby smoothly. However, at this stage, there are still many things that expectant fathers and mothers need to pay attention to. In addition, in the late stages of pregnancy, the mood of the pregnant mother becomes particularly important, and she must always keep a happy mood.
