How to use follicle test paper

Many men and women are always paying attention to their usual eating habits, lifestyles, whether they have taken medicines recently, etc. Another most important process is to test their own follicles. It is very important to increase the chance of pregnancy by testing the follicles, but you must also know that it is not that simple during the testing process. You need to test it step by step according to the correct method.

How to use ovulation test strips

1. Collect urine in a clean and dry container. Urine within one day can be tested, but morning urine is usually not used. This is different from early pregnancy test strips, so mothers should pay attention to this. The best time to collect urine is from 10 am to 8 pm. During the testing process for several consecutive days, it is best to use urine samples collected at the same time every day. Water intake should be reduced 2 hours before urine collection because a dilute urine sample will interfere with detection of the LH peak.

2. Dip the end of the test strip with the arrow mark into the urine, take it out after about three seconds and lay it flat. Observe the result for 10-20 minutes. The result shall be read within 30 minutes!

3. The depth of the test paper inserted into the urine should not exceed the MAX mark line.

Ovulation test paper precautions

1. Before using ovulation test strips, women first need to determine their menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle of most women is about 28 days, with an error generally not exceeding 5 days. If your menstrual cycle is less than 27 days or more than 40 days, you should consult your obstetrician and gynecologist to determine whether you can use ovulation test strips.

2. Women who take oral contraceptives need to stop taking them for two months before using ovulation test strips. Because contraceptives inhibit the secretion of luteinizing hormone, the test paper will not show color or the color will be light, resulting in inaccurate test results.

3. Women who are suffering from endocrine system diseases such as ovarian cysts, or women who are taking hormones or steroid drugs should not use ovulation test strips.

4. Test time: Urine within a day can be tested, but morning urine is usually not used. This is different from early pregnancy test strips, so mothers should pay attention. The best time to collect urine is from 10 am to 8 pm. During the testing process for several consecutive days, it is best to use urine samples collected at the same time every day.

5. Do not drink a lot of water or beverages before the test. The urine collection container used for testing should be kept clean.

6. Ovulation test strips cannot 100% prove that an egg is formed. Therefore, when women encounter problems with conception, they should go to the obstetrics and gynecology department of a regular hospital in time.
