Increased vaginal discharge after sexual intercourse

Increased vaginal discharge after sexual intercourse

Leucorrhea is mainly composed of substances secreted from the female vagina, and the composition of leucorrhea is also very complex. And when a woman's body is in the ovulation period, there will be a significant increase in vaginal discharge, mainly because the eggs in the woman's body need to be discharged through the vagina. But at other times, some women also experience increased leucorrhea in their bodies. For example, what is the reason for increased leucorrhea after sexual intercourse?

Leucorrhea is a sticky white liquid that flows out of a woman's vagina. It is a mixture of vaginal mucosal exudates, cervical glands and endometrial gland secretions, and contains vaginal epithelial exfoliated cells, white blood cells and some non-pathogenic bacteria.

Excessive secretion has the following reasons

1. Sexual excitement causes excessive vaginal discharge. During sexual intercourse, the amount of leucorrhea will increase compared to usual, which will lubricate the vagina and facilitate sexual intercourse. Increased leucorrhea after sex is caused by unclean sex life. There are mild bacteria in the body, which are finally excreted from the body with sterilization function, which will cause increased leucorrhea. It is recommended to use Jie Er Yin Wash to clean it first to see if the symptoms are relieved. If there is still a lot of it, go to the hospital for a check-up.

2. Ovulation causes excessive vaginal discharge. Generally, the amount of leucorrhea increases and becomes thin and transparent during the middle period of menstruation (i.e. ovulation period). After ovulation, the leucorrhea returns to a sticky, turbid and less amount state.

3. What causes excessive leucorrhea? Progesterone causes excessive leucorrhea. The amount of leucorrhea increases before menstruation and during pregnancy due to the increase in progesterone.

4. Stress causes excessive vaginal discharge. Excessive stress in women can cause neurological disorders, affect normal endocrine regulation, and may also cause excessive vaginal discharge. At this time, women often need to release stress and regulate themselves.

Women need to note that when excessive vaginal discharge occurs, they should identify it by changes in the color, properties, and smell of the vaginal discharge. If it is accompanied by itching or tingling in the vagina, they should seek medical attention in time to check whether there is a gynecological inflammatory infection.
