In addition, if the pain in the upper right abdomen is accompanied by symptoms such as fatigue, anorexia, and jaundice, it may be caused by diseases such as hepatitis.

The upper abdomen is where the stomach and duodenum are located. If this pain occurs frequently when the stomach is empty and the pain is continuous and pinching, you may have gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer. If upper abdominal pain is accompanied by symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, cough and fever, it may be caused by angina pectoris.
