How do you know if you are infertile?

Getting married and having children is a tradition for Chinese people nowadays. Even if some families are DINKs, everyone hopes to have a child. For most people, getting married and having children is a very important burden for women. But sometimes, after a lot of efforts, you still can't get pregnant. If you want to know if you are infertile, you can check whether there are these situations.

1: Menstrual disorders: early or delayed menstruation; excessive or insufficient menstrual flow; significantly prolonged menstrual period.

Reason for showing the card: Menstrual disorders are often related to endocrine disorders, luteal insufficiency, and endometrial inflammation.

2: Amenorrhea: Women are over 18 years old and have not had menstruation yet; menstruation has stopped for more than 6 months after the onset of menstruation.

Reason for showing the card: Amenorrhea is very likely to occur when suffering from uterine, ovarian, pituitary, or hypothalamic infertility.

3: Dysmenorrhea: People who have no history of dysmenorrhea may suddenly experience severe abdominal pain during menstruation.

Reason for showing the card: Abdominal pain during menstruation may occur when diseases such as endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, uterine hypoplasia, and abnormal uterine position exist.

4: Symptoms before and after menstruation: Symptoms such as "breast swelling", "headache", "edema", "fever", and "acne" appear before and after each menstruation.

Reasons for showing the card: These symptoms are caused by endocrine disorders that lead to imperfect luteal function and can also lead to infertility.

5: Abnormal leucorrhea: increased leucorrhea, yellow color, odor, tofu-like or watery appearance, or accompanied by vulvar itching and pain.

Reason for showing the card: Abnormal leucorrhea is often accompanied by vaginitis, cervicitis (cervical erosion), endometritis, adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease and various sexually transmitted diseases.

6: Abdominal pain: chronic lower abdominal pain, bilateral abdominal pain or lumbar pain.

Reasons for showing the card: Pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis, oophoritis, endometriosis, uterine and ovarian tumors can cause abdominal pain symptoms.

7: Milk leakage: Milk leaks out of the breast spontaneously or after squeezing during the non-lactating period.

Reasons for showing cards: related to hypothalamic insufficiency, pituitary tumors, prolactinoma or primary hypothyroidism, chronic renal failure, etc., and may also be caused by contraceptives and antihypertensive drugs such as reserpines. Galactorrhea is often combined with amenorrhea, leading to infertility.

8. Suffering from endometriosis

When women find that they have clinical manifestations such as abnormal bleeding, dysmenorrhea, periodic rectal and anal swelling, and pain reactions such as low back pain, they should consider the possibility that they have endometriosis. This disease can cause infertility in 75% of women and should not be taken lightly.
