There are many reasons for scanty menstruation, such as endocrine disorders, gynecological inflammation, changes in mental environment, anemia, etc. In addition, it may be caused by the endometrium itself, such as endometrial tuberculosis causing endometrial lesions or artificial abortion, and curettage causing thin endometrium. Long-term scanty menstruation may cause amenorrhea or infertility.
