Check follicles during menstruation

There is a very direct relationship between follicles and female fertility, and poor follicle function is one of the causes of infertility in many women. After discovering that there are follicle problems affecting fertility, it is very important to check the details of the follicles. The situation must be understood so that better treatment can be carried out. Therefore, checking time is something that many people are concerned about. So, on which day of the menstrual period should you check your ovarian follicles? Let’s take a look below.

A woman's ovaries are used to produce and expel eggs. The prerequisite for normal ovulation is the presence of well-developed follicles. If women who are preparing for pregnancy have follicle monitoring done, abnormalities in follicle development can be detected and treated in time to avoid affecting normal pregnancy plans.

Follicle monitoring is so important, which method is the most accurate? Currently, the most commonly used and most accurate method is to use B-ultrasound to monitor follicles. Monitoring follicles through B-ultrasound can simultaneously understand the changes in various hormone levels in the body and whether the follicles have matured to the point where they can ovulate normally (this is mainly determined by ultrasound).

The process of B-ultrasound follicle monitoring: Clinically, B-ultrasound is used to monitor follicles. Under normal circumstances, it starts from the eighth day of menstruation, and B-ultrasound is performed every two days. During the monitoring process, if the diameter of the follicle is found to reach 17mm, then B-ultrasound should be performed every day until the diameter of the follicle increases to 20mm. B-ultrasound should be performed twice a day until ovulation.

The cycle of follicle monitoring is relatively long, so we would like to remind all female friends to have a fixed doctor to do B-ultrasound. The same doctor should have the same examination habits to ensure the accuracy of the results of each monitoring. Different institutions or doctors use different equipment, and different doctors use the same equipment, and the results of the measurements will be different.

Nowadays, the probability of infertility in women is relatively high, mostly because of irregular menstruation, etc., or the maturity of the follicles. Some people will think of ovulation. There are many specific causes of infertility clinically, so you need to fully understand the above introduction of the editor to ensure that the ovaries are in normal condition in the future.
