What medicine is most effective for inducing menstruation?

Menstruation is a normal physiological phenomenon for women. Normal menstruation indicates that a woman’s reproductive system is healthy. But in reality, there are often many people whose menstruation is delayed or whose menstrual flow is relatively light, which is harmful to the female body and has no benefits. There are many ways to regulate menstruation, such as injecting progesterone, or regulating through Chinese medicine prescriptions such as peach kernel and safflower, roasted ginger and hawthorn, jujube and motherwort tea, and sophora japonica black bean porridge.

1. Progesterone injection

3. Roasted ginger and hawthorn recipe

Recipe: 10 grams of roasted ginger, 20 grams of hawthorn, 6 grams of Corydalis yanhusuo, and appropriate amount of rice wine.

Usage: Grind the above medicines into fine powder, take 6 grams each time, mix with rice wine to make a paste and apply to the navel, wrap with gauze, fix with adhesive tape, and change once a day.

Indications: It can play a good role in inducing menstruation in cases of cold blood type with oligomenorrhea, late menstruation, dysmenorrhea, etc.

4. Jujube and Motherwort Tea

Ingredients: 20 grams of jujube, 20 grams of motherwort, and 20 grams of brown sugar.

Preparation method: Add 650 ml of water to jujube and motherwort and soak for 30 minutes. First boil it with high heat, then simmer it with low heat for 30 minutes, and then filter it with double-layer gauze to get about 200 ml of medicinal liquid, which is the first decoction; add 500 ml of water to the residue and decoct it as before, to get 200 ml of medicinal liquid, which is the second decoction. Combine the two medicinal solutions and add brown sugar to dissolve. Take 1 dose daily, about 200 ml each time, drink warm in the morning and evening.

Efficacy: This product warms the meridians and nourishes blood, removes blood stasis and relieves pain. It is suitable for patients with delayed menstruation and scanty menstruation caused by blood deficiency and cold stagnation.

5. Sumu black bean porridge

Ingredients: 10 grams of Sophora japonica, 100 grams of black beans, and appropriate amounts of glutinous rice and brown sugar.

Preparation method: Add appropriate amount of water to sumac and black beans and stew until the black beans are almost cooked. Remove the sumac, add glutinous rice and cook into porridge. Add brown sugar and it is done. Serve hot in 2 portions.
