How to get rid of excessive moisture?

With the current living standard, people like to drink cold water, iced drinks, and eat meat, which causes the body to accumulate more and more moisture. If the moisture in the body continues for a long time and cannot be discharged, it will be harmful to the body and cause certain diseases. Many people also know that too much moisture is bad for the body, and they have been trying to discharge the moisture, but the wrong methods will only cause the moisture to accumulate more and more. So, how can the excessive moisture be discharged?

It is rainy in this season and the humidity in the air is high. Moisture can easily enter the body, causing dampness in the body and causing some diseases. Therefore, special attention should be paid to preventing moisture from entering the body in spring. In traditional Chinese medicine, dampness seems to be the "root of all evil." Among the "six evil spirits" that cause disease, wind, cold, heat, dampness, dryness and fire, dampness has the greatest range of damage.

Moxibustion acupoints can remove dampness and prevent disease

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that moxibustion on acupoints can help us get rid of dampness very well. We all know that moxibustion is a very commonly used means of health preservation, disease prevention and treatment. Moxibustion on some acupoints of the body can have unexpected effects and can prevent various diseases. The effect is great.

There are many common moxibustion methods, and the specific moxibustion points are as follows:

1. Guanyuan acupoint

This acupoint is located about three inches below our navel. It is an acupoint that has excellent health-preserving and body-strengthening effects. Long-term moxibustion on this acupoint can effectively regulate qi and blood, and it also has a good effect on nourishing the kidney and consolidating essence.

2. Zhongwan acupoint

Located in the upper abdomen of the human body, on the anterior midline, 4 inches above the navel. Moxibustion at this acupoint can effectively relieve various diseases and symptoms of the stomach and intestines, such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, heartburn, belching, dizziness, tinnitus, etc.

3. Fenglong Point

Located on the anterior and lateral side of the lower leg, eight inches above the tip of the lateral malleolus, outside the Tiaokou point, and two horizontal fingers (middle fingers) away from the anterior edge of the tibia. This point is mainly used to treat headaches, dizziness, coughs with excessive sputum and other phlegm and fluid symptoms, and is especially effective in removing phlegm and dampness.

4. Quchi Point

The location of this acupoint is on the outer side of the horizontal line that appears when the elbow is bent. It is the He point of the large intestine meridian, which means that blood and qi gather here from the opposite positions of the limbs. Moxibustion on this acupoint can regulate qi and blood and remove rheumatism. If you are prone to irritability and numbness in your hands, moxibustion on this acupoint can improve blood circulation and improve the discomfort.
