2. Related to sex life

Sexual intercourse leads to vulvar and vaginal lacerations, which occur more often in young girls and often result in profuse bleeding. There are also some rare situations, such as leukemia, aplastic anemia, thrombocytopenic purpura and other blood diseases, which may first manifest as menorrhagia; improper use of anticoagulants in dialysis treatment in patients with chronic renal failure may also cause menorrhagia.
