What causes uterine inflammation?

For women, the uterus is the place where children are conceived. However, if you do not pay attention to personal hygiene in life or for other reasons, it is easy to damage the uterus, and even allow bacteria to directly invade, causing inflammation. So, apart from the cause of bacteria, what causes uterine inflammation? Common causes such as not paying attention to sexual hygiene or miscarriage may be the culprit of uterine inflammation!

Causes of uterine inflammation

Endometritis: Generally speaking, it can be divided into acute and chronic. However, acute endometritis is generally caused by inflammation due to miscarriage or some severe stimulation to the uterus. At the same time, some bacteria during sexual intercourse can also cause endometritis. Chronic endometritis can have many causes. First of all, if acute endometritis is not treated in time, it will eventually develop into chronic endometritis.

Secondly, if the long-term inflammation of the uterine appendages, such as the fallopian tubes or cervix, is not treated properly and eventually spreads, it can also cause endometritis. Next, some natural miscarriages or childbirth processes may leave some residues in our uterus which can also lead to endometritis. Finally, for some older people, the estrogen in their bodies after menopause is much less than when they were young, so their uterus is very easily infected by bacteria. All of the above are more common causes of uterine inflammation.

Cervicitis: Cervicitis is generally caused by not paying attention to hygiene during sexual life, which leads to some bacteria infecting the female cervix and causing inflammation. This is the most common reason. The second reason is that many girls get pregnant at a very young age, but don’t want the baby, so they can only undergo some surgery. The result of doing this is damage to the cervix during the abortion process, and if it is not taken care of in time, inflammation will occur.
