What to do if you have adnexitis? Introducing scientific therapy!

Adnexitis is a common gynecological disease. The reason why this disease is prone to occur is because there are too many reasons. For example, many women do not pay attention to personal hygiene, which makes it easy for bacteria to enter the uterus. In addition, some women have sex during menstruation or have an uncontrolled sexual life. Many factors can cause this disease. The following introduces the treatment methods of adnexitis.

First, Western medicine

1. For vaginal medication, Jiaoyan gel disinfectant is more effective.

2. Antibiotic treatment

For patients with obvious symptoms, antibiotics should be used as the first choice for treatment. Antibiotics can kill any remaining pathogenic bacteria and prevent acute attacks. Commonly used drugs are still penicillin, gentamicin, metronidazole, etc., and the usage is the same as that for acute salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis.

3. Other drug treatments

Because the female reproductive system has a natural defense function, under normal circumstances, it can resist bacterial invasion. Only when the body's resistance decreases or the female's natural defense function is destroyed due to other reasons will adnexitis occur. Note that when cleaning the vulva every day, it is more appropriate to use a feminine care solution with a pH 4 weak acid formula. Such as Jiaoyan feminine care liquid. Simply rinsing with water or using alkaline shower gel will disrupt the acid-base balance of the vagina and inhibit the normal growth of lactobacilli.

4. For fallopian tube obstruction caused by chronic salpingitis, intrauterine injection can be performed. Use 160,000 units of gentamicin, 5 mg of α-chymotrypsin, and 5 mg of dexamethasone, dilute them with 20 ml of normal saline, strictly disinfect the vulva, vagina, and cervix, and then inject into the uterine cavity. Start 3 days after the menstruation ends, and inject once every 2 days until before ovulation. The treatment can be continued for 3 cycles.

Second, tissue therapy

Such as placental tissue fluid and placental globulin, intramuscular injection, once a day or every other day, 15 times as a course of treatment.

Third, physical therapy

The benign stimulation of warmth can promote pelvic blood circulation, improve the nutritional status of local tissues, and facilitate the absorption and disappearance of inflammation. Commonly used physical therapies include short wave, ultrashort wave, infrared, audio, ion penetration, etc. However, do not use physical therapy if the body temperature exceeds 37.5℃ or if you have genital tuberculosis.

The principle of ultrashort wave treatment of adnexitis:

A physical therapy instrument that uses the electrical energy of the high-frequency electric field emitted by capacitive electrodes to carry out treatment. When using ultrashort waves to treat adnexitis, the part of the human body that needs treatment is placed in the high-frequency electric field. Under the action of the high-frequency electric field, the molecular ions in the body will vibrate violently at the equilibrium position. At the same time, the thermal effect generated by the friction between each other makes the surface and deep tissues of the body heated more evenly, thereby playing a therapeutic role.

Fourth, surgical treatment

Larger hydrosalpinx or tubo-ovarian cysts caused by inflammation can be treated surgically. For those who are infertile due to fallopian tube obstruction, fallopian tube repair surgery can be performed. For chronic salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis with repeated acute attacks, when drug treatment is not effective, the patient is in great pain, and the patient is older, surgical treatment may also be considered.

Fifth, Chinese medicine

When treating this disease with traditional Chinese medicine, one should distinguish between cold, heat, deficiency and excess, and treat based on syndrome differentiation.

1. The treatment for the downward movement of damp-heat type is to clear away heat and remove dampness. The prescription uses the prescription of stopping belt to add or subtract:

Take 12 grams each of Poria cocos, Plantago seed (package), and red peony root, 10 grams each of Phellodendron chinense, Achyranthes bidentata, Cortex Moutan, and Atractylodes lancea, and 6 grams each of Alisma orientalis and Capillaris capillaris. Add or subtract: If the abdominal pain is obvious, add 10g each of Yuanhu and Chuanlianzi to promote qi and relieve pain; if the appetite is poor and the stool is loose, replace Atractylodes with stir-fried Atractylodes 10g, add 20g of raw Coix seed and 18g of Poria to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness.

2. Stasis and heat syndrome

The treatment is to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, clear away heat and detoxify. The prescription is Danggui Yuanhu Decoction with modifications:

Use 20 grams of Patrinia scabra, 15 grams each of Angelica sinensis, Corydalis yanhusuo, Rhubarb with wine, Red Peony Root, and Peach Kernel, and 12 grams of Cyperus rotundus. Decoction in water.

Additions and subtractions: If there is obvious stabbing pain in the lower abdomen, add 10 grams each of frankincense and myrrh to remove blood stasis and stop bleeding; if there is obvious bloating and pain in the lower abdomen, add 10 grams each of Toosendan fruit and Citrus aurantium to promote qi and relieve pain; if the menstrual flow is scanty, dark in color and clots, add 20 grams of Leonurus japonicus to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. If the amount of leucorrhea is large and yellow in color, add 15 grams of Artemisia capillaris and 12 grams of Alisma orientalis to clear away dampness and heat.
