How to perform nipple repair?

The nipple is the interface for the baby to obtain breast milk. The health of the nipple has a certain impact on the baby's physical development. For example, many women's breast diseases include many nipple problems. There are many types of nipple lesions, among which inflammation accounts for the majority. This will affect the baby's breast milk intake and also affect the shape of the women's breasts, damaging the women's image. Therefore, if nipple problems occur, they must be repaired in time. Let's take a look at how to repair nipples?

As the name suggests, breast reconstruction is the reconstruction of the human breast. Through surgery, it helps people who have lost their breasts to rebuild a new breast. If the breast is missing or severely deformed, breast reconstruction can be performed to create a new breast and improve the shape of the chest.

Preoperative Note :

1. Before the operation, you should adjust your mentality, solve psychological barriers, and understand the relevant issues of the operation;

2. Prepare relevant information about your breast disease before the operation, and communicate fully with the doctor so that the doctor can understand the patient's condition and make corresponding countermeasures for the operation;

3. Anticoagulants, ginseng, contraceptives, aspirin, etc. are prohibited before surgery to avoid prolonging bleeding time during surgery;

4. Surgery during menstruation can prevent hematoma caused by breast congestion and prolonged coagulation time, which may affect the surgical effect.

Postoperative attention:

1. You should try to get up and recover for a while on the day after the reconstructive surgery;

2. Avoid raising your upper limbs after surgery. If necessary, you can bandage the upper chest;

3. Inject antibiotics for 2-3 days after surgery;

4. Remove all drainage strips 1-2 days after surgery, and the dressings can also be changed or removed at this time;

5. You need to wear an elastic vest within 3 months after the operation to stabilize and shape the breasts. It can also reduce incision tension and prevent the reconstructed breasts from sagging and deforming.

6. Avoid excessive force, bending over, and lifting heavy objects after surgery, as these activities can cause swelling and even bleeding in the surgical area;

7. After surgery, you should sleep on your back to avoid compressing your breasts;

8. Remove the sutures 7 to 10 days after surgery. For areas with high tension, the sutures can be removed intermittently 10 days after surgery.

9. Pay attention to diet after surgery. The surgical trauma is large, so you should eat more high-calorie, high-protein, and high-vitamin foods to enhance the patient's resistance and facilitate wound healing.
