What are the symptoms of excessive moisture in women's bodies?

Some female friends are more concerned about beauty and always wear thin clothes in the cold winter. Over time, it is easy for dampness to appear in the body, such as nausea when brushing teeth in bed in the morning, dizziness when getting up, lack of energy, thick white tongue coating, frequent sourness in calves, poor appetite, unformed stool, abnormal leucorrhea, etc.

1) Is brushing your teeth disgusting?

Do you feel nauseous when you brush your teeth in the morning? Some people feel nauseous and vomit when they brush their teeth. There is always a sticky and unclean feeling in the throat, and they always feel like they want to spit out phlegm. This is a sign of dampness in the body.

2) See how you feel when you wake up

If you feel particularly tired, dizzy, heavy feet, and lack of energy when you wake up in the morning, or as if you are wearing wet clothes, your limbs feel heavy and you feel uncomfortable all over, as if there is a heavy object attached to your body and you are too lazy to move. There will also be symptoms of dampness on the surface such as fever, slight fear of cold and wind, and clear runny nose. Then you definitely have dampness in your body.

3) Check your tongue coating when washing your mouth

The tongue can sensitively reflect our physical condition. Before brushing our teeth, we might as well take a few seconds to look at our tongue in the mirror. A healthy tongue is pale pink and moist, with a thin, white and clean layer of tongue coating on the surface, with moderate dryness and wetness, neither slippery nor dry. When brushing your teeth, you may as well look at your tongue coating. If the tongue coating is white and thick, and looks smooth and moist, it means that there is cold and dampness in the body; if the tongue coating is rough or very thick, yellow and greasy, it means that there is damp heat in the body.

4) Sore and heavy calves

If you feel sore and heavy in your calves and stomach when you wake up in the morning, this is also a typical sign of dampness in your body.

5) Look at your stool when using the toilet

After going to the bathroom in the morning, you can observe your stool. The stool is unformed. If you have loose stools for a long time, there must be moisture in your body. If it's stuck to the toilet, even a tank of water won't be able to flush it away. It is also a symptom of dampness. If it is inconvenient to observe the toilet, you can also observe the toilet paper. Normally, one or two pieces of paper are enough. If three or five pieces of paper cannot be wiped clean after repeated wiping, it also means that there is moisture in the body, because moisture has the characteristics of stickiness. Severe dampness can easily lead to stool retention. The toxins produced by stool retention accumulate in the body, making it easy to get sick.

6) Do you have an appetite for food?

When dampness disturbs the spleen and affects its normal functioning, it will cause symptoms such as chest tightness, abdominal distension, poor appetite, and decreased food intake. When "internal dampness" occurs due to poor spleen function, there are often symptoms of qi deficiency and dampness, such as a tasteless and sticky mouth, thirst without wanting to drink water, fatigue and listlessness.

7) Is the leucorrhea abnormal?

Another characteristic of dampness is that it "tends downward", and will attack the part below the waist. After the invasion of dampness, symptoms such as urine becoming turbid, excessive vaginal discharge in women, and genital itching are also typical characteristics of dampness invasion.

The symptoms of heavy dampness in women's bodies are mainly manifested in the aspects mentioned above, among which unformed stool is the most telling feature. When this happens, you should pay attention.
