Candidiasis vaginitis is a relatively common gynecological disease. One of the characteristics of this disease is that it is prone to recurrence. There are many reasons for the recurrence, such as careless treatment, lack of completeness in treatment, and lack of attention to hygiene, etc., which can easily lead to recurrence of the disease. For patients, timely and complete treatment is necessary, otherwise it will pose a continuous threat to health. 1. Improper use of medication and failure to provide thorough treatment are important causes of recurrence of the disease. After treatment, patients with candidal vaginitis still need to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination and vaginal secretion test after each menstruation, for three consecutive times. If signs of Candida infection are found once during this period, it cannot be considered cured, but rather a relapse or reinfection, and continued treatment is required. 2. Diabetic patients suffer from repeated attacks of candidal vaginitis because of increased acidity in the vagina and long-term glycosuria, which provide favorable conditions for the growth of Candida albicans. Therefore, treating diabetes is the key to reducing the recurrence of candidal vaginitis. 3. Frequent or long-term use of antibiotics repeatedly destroys the restrictive relationship between vaginal flora, allowing Candida to grow vigorously. For such patients, antibiotics should be stopped immediately and Chinese medicine treatment can be chosen. 4. After a woman suffers from candidal vaginitis, she can transmit the pathogen to her husband through sexual intercourse, making her husband a carrier. About 10% of men may develop balanoposthitis. If only the woman is treated and the man is not, then even if the woman is cured, she will be reinfected by her husband, causing Candida to be repeatedly "transmitted" between the couple, and the woman's candidal vaginitis will recur. 5. The human body itself can be a carrier of Candida albicans. When the Candida albicans in the intestine infects the vagina, it can cause candidal vaginitis. For example, if you have poor hygiene habits and always wipe the vulva from the anus to the urethra after defecation, you may bring the Candida albicans in the intestine into the vagina, repeatedly causing candidal vaginitis. Therefore, patients should change their bad hygiene habits when treating candidal vaginitis. 6. Not paying attention to hygiene and washing underwear and socks together. Although it is rare for tinea pedis to cause candidal vaginitis, it is not impossible. If the bacteria that causes tinea pedis is Candida albicans, then the above practices will cause self-infection. In addition, frequently using sanitary napkins and toilet paper that do not meet hygiene standards, or having the habit of washing basins, may also lead to recurrent candidal vaginitis. |
