The pain usually lasts for 3 to 7 days before gradually alleviating and disappearing. About a month later, the cyclical abdominal pain occurs again and gradually worsens.

Even if pregnant, recurrent miscarriage and premature birth are prone to occur. Due to adhesions in the uterine cavity, damage to the endometrium, and reduction in uterine volume, the normal implantation of the embryo is affected.
