Candidal vaginitis is a common gynecological inflammation in women, which is mainly caused by bacterial infection. The main causes of candidal vaginitis are excessive cleaning or drug abuse, going to public places and unclean living conditions. 1. Abuse of antibiotics Improper use of antibiotics and abuse of broad-spectrum antibiotics may have serious consequences, because while killing pathogenic bacteria, it also inhibits some beneficial bacteria, and the unsuppressed and foreign drug-resistant bacteria will take the opportunity to multiply in large numbers, including mold. 2. Excessive cleaning Many women like to be clean, but the frequent use of gynecological cleaning disinfectants, disinfected pads, etc., destroys the microenvironment of the vagina itself, causes imbalance, and reduces the vagina's self-antibacterial ability, which makes it easy for fungi to invade and cause disease. 3. Pregnancy During pregnancy, the body's immunity decreases, the level of sex hormones is high, the glycogen in the vaginal tissue increases, and the acidity increases, which is conducive to the growth of fungi. In addition, the elevated level of sex hormones during pregnancy also promotes the production of hyphae by fungi. The hyphae are the "claws" of fungi - they can help fungi invade vaginal tissue and cause vaginitis. 4. Public utilities Some facilities in public places, such as seat cushions on buses, flush toilets and bathtubs in hotels, unhygienic beds, etc., may hide a large number of molds, which can cause candidal vaginitis after contact. Patients with candidal vaginitis present with increased leucorrhea, itching and burning sensation of the vulva and vagina, painful urination, redness and edema around the vulva, and various epidermal changes. Very shallow vesicular papules may occur in groups. Eczematous erosions may also form, which are limited to the vulva or extend to the perineum, around the anus, and femoral genital folds, and even to the inner and outer thighs, completely similar to acute or subacute eczema. The mucosa near the labia and clitoris is thickened, and the skin surfaces that contact each other are flushed and eroded. Some may cause tiny white pustules, and in severe cases, ulcers, vulvar pain and local lymphadenopathy may occur. |
