Treatment of ovarian tumors, say goodbye to ovarian diseases

Treatment of ovarian tumors, say goodbye to ovarian diseases

The ovaries are an important part of the female body but are prone to problems. Ovarian tumors are a common problem of the ovaries. Ovarian tumors are extremely harmful to women's bodies and may cause miscarriage, infertility, and even more seriously, may turn into cancer. So what are the ways to treat ovarian tumors?

1. Treatment of ovarian tumors

1: Chemotherapy: If it is estimated that surgical resection of the tumor is difficult, 1 to 2 courses of chemotherapy before surgery can improve surgical resection. Postoperative chemotherapy can prevent recurrence. For those whose surgical resection is incomplete, chemotherapy can provide temporary relief or even long-term survival. For those whose tumor cannot be removed surgically, chemotherapy can shrink and loosen the tumor, creating conditions for another surgery. This is a common treatment for ovarian tumors.

2: Radiotherapy: Different tissue types of ovarian malignant tumors have different sensitivities to radiotherapy. Germ cell tumors are the most sensitive to radiotherapy, granulosa cell tumors are moderately sensitive, and epithelial tumors also have a certain sensitivity. It is also a common treatment method for ovarian tumors. Postoperative external irradiation is mainly aimed at residual cancer lesions in the pelvic and abdominal cavities.

3: Traditional Chinese Medicine: The treatment method of this type of ovarian tumor is to start from a holistic perspective, regulate qi and blood, strengthen the root cause, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, soften and disperse nodules, clear away heat and detoxify, and comprehensively regulate the endocrine system to activate qi and blood, activate the internal organs, with meridians as the basis and qi and blood as the function. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment can relieve patients of the psychological pressure and mental burden brought by surgery, regulate endocrine, strengthen immunity, etc. It is easy to take medicine, does not require surgery, does not damage the vitality, does not require hospitalization, has low risk of pain, does not affect work, study and life, and is low in cost and effective, so that patients can recover soon.

2: Precautions for ovarian tumor treatment

Although the patient was diagnosed with a benign ovarian tumor before surgery, a careful examination should be performed after laparotomy to further determine the location and nature of the tumor so that appropriate treatment can be given. If it is impossible to distinguish between benign and malignant tumors during surgery, a rapid frozen section pathological examination should be performed.

When it is difficult to distinguish between benign and malignant tumors before surgery, the operation should be performed by naked eye observation to make a preliminary judgment, and the contralateral ovary should be checked to see if it is normal. Any grossly visible benign tumor should be removed. If its nature cannot be determined, a frozen section pathological examination should be performed as soon as possible.

The surgical incision should be long enough, and when enucleating the tumor, avoid squeezing it to prevent it from rupturing and to prevent tumor cells from implanting in the abdominal cavity. If the tumor is too large to be completely removed, puncture and suction can be performed to release the fluid, thereby reducing the size of the tumor and then removing it.

Three: Ovarian tumors are swelling of the ovaries,

It is a general term for enlargements and new growths. It is a common gynecological disease that can occur in children to the elderly and is also common in postpartum women. Ovarian tumors are divided into two categories: physiological and pathological. Physiological ones include follicular cysts and corpus luteum cysts, while pathological ones are divided into neoplastic and non-neoplastic tumors.
