With the increasing competition in today's society and the increasing pressure of life, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many couples who are in the right age group to get pregnant to get pregnant. Therefore, many couples who are preparing for pregnancy will choose to use B-ultrasound to monitor the development of ovarian follicles to arrange intercourse and help pregnancy. So, if you do B-ultrasound to monitor the development of follicles, how does the B-ultrasound show that ovulation has occurred? Next, I will introduce it to you in this article.

How does ultrasound show that ovulation has occurred?

If the B-ultrasound follicle monitoring shows that a perfect egg has suddenly disappeared, there is a small amount of blood accumulation in the pelvis, and progesterone is produced, this means that ovulation has already occurred. At the same time, you should also pay attention to the appearance of translucent secretions during the ovulation period and the ovulation test paper showing a strong positive result, which indicates that ovulation is likely to occur within the next 24 hours.

When is the best time to monitor ovulation with ultrasound?

B-ultrasound monitoring of ovulation is usually done by vaginal B-ultrasound. When to do the test is very important, because we must not only grasp the regularity of ovulation, but also try to avoid doing the test. Therefore, for the first cycle, taking the 28-day menstrual cycle as an example, the ideal test should be like this:

1. Do an ultrasound around the 7th day of your period to find out how many eggs are growing at the same time and the size of the largest egg.

2. The second ultrasound is done around the 10th day of the menstrual period, during which 1 to 2 mature follicles can be seen and the rate of egg growth can be calculated.

3. The third B-ultrasound is just before ovulation. If you don't know how to calculate the period before ovulation, you can use the daily growth rate of the egg of 2mm to see when the egg reaches 1.9-2.0cm in size. Generally speaking, it should be around the 13th day of the cycle. At this time, the B-ultrasound will show a translucent ring around the egg, and an experienced technician will tell you that the egg should ovulate within 24 hours.

4. The fourth B-ultrasound should be around the 14th day after ovulation. The egg has disappeared or significantly shrunk by more than 5mm, and a liquid shadow of 4 to 6mm or even more can be seen in the uterine duodenal crypt. Because for some people, although the egg can grow, it cannot ovulate, such as anovulatory sphingomyelinosis syndrome, the egg can grow more than 30mm, or even larger, but there is no ovulation, so pregnancy will not occur.

The above is the detailed introduction about "how does B-ultrasound show that ovulation has occurred". I believe that after reading the above introduction, everyone has a general understanding. In addition, experts also remind: During the period of pregnancy preparation, it is better to avoid B-ultrasound as much as possible. Although it can see the ovulation period very intuitively, directly and accurately, it also has many risks. As long as the test can achieve the purpose of detection to the greatest extent, it will be fine.
