The reason why leucorrhea is yellow and like water without any odor

Yellow leucorrhea that is like water and has no odor is a symptom that troubles many women. It is one of the early symptoms of candidal vaginitis, and it is particularly prone to occur among diabetics and pregnant women. Due to the increase in vaginal acidity, Candida albicans multiplies and reproduces. When it develops to a certain extent, leucorrhea will have an odor. Elderly women in menopause may also have yellow leucorrhea without odor. This is mainly because the ovarian function of women at this time is declining, and their resistance is reduced, leading to interference from bacteria. But these are only the early manifestations of gynecological diseases. Treatment measures must be taken as soon as possible and the cause of abnormal leucorrhea must be determined through hospital examination. Regardless of whether the leucorrhea has an odor or not, it should be taken seriously.

1. Caused by Candida albicans

Yellow leucorrhea without odor is one of the early symptoms of candidal vaginitis, which is mainly caused by Candida albicans infection and is more common in diabetic women or pregnant women. Candida albicans is suitable for growing in an acidic environment. For women with diabetes or who are pregnant, the acidity in the vagina increases due to the high glycogen content in the vaginal epithelial cells, which provides a suitable environment for the growth of Candida albicans. When fungal vaginitis develops to a certain stage, the leucorrhea will have an odor.

2. Cervical erosion causes yellow leucorrhea without odor

Cervical erosion may also cause yellow leucorrhea without odor. At present, cervical erosion is no longer a standard disease. It is a physiological phenomenon caused by the eversion of the columnar epithelial cells of the cervix. However, when this physiological phenomenon exists, the immunity of the cervix is low, which makes it easy to be infected and breed bacteria. It often manifests as vulvar itching, increased leucorrhea, frequent urination, and yellow leucorrhea without odor.

In order to show off their slender legs, many women like to wear tight, non-breathable pants. This will cause the genitals to be warm and humid, which is conducive to the growth and reproduction of fungi and often results in abnormal leucorrhea. It is best to change and wash your clothes frequently. Wearing loose pants can also show your beauty. During the treatment, pay attention to the hygiene of the perineum and avoid eating spicy foods.
