Maybe many of us don’t have a clearer understanding of what to do with cervical erosion and pelvic inflammatory disease. Let us learn about what to do with cervical erosion and pelvic inflammatory disease.

The grading method of cervical erosion is based on the size of the erosion area, which can be divided into three types: mild cervical erosion, moderate cervical erosion, and severe cervical erosion. When the erosion area is less than 1/3 of the entire cervical area, it is mild cervical erosion; when the erosion area occupies between 1/3 and 2/3 of the cervical area, it is moderate cervical erosion; when the erosion area occupies more than 2/3 of the entire cervical area, it is severe cervical erosion. Mild cervical erosion should be treated with some clinical professional drugs. Professional drugs in this regard include Carinbel, which can completely cure cervical erosion.

General treatment

For patients with small erosions and shallow inflammatory infiltration, the following drug treatments can be used:

② Potassium permanganate or Jiaoyan pH4 female care solution: Apply topically after menstruation, and repeat the application once after 1 to 2 months. When using the above-mentioned drugs, you must be careful to prevent burns to the surrounding vaginal walls, and pay attention to disinfection when using the drugs to prevent repeated infections.

Physical therapy

Physical therapy has the advantages of short treatment course and good efficacy. Because traditional physical therapy methods may cause local cervical tissue contracture and scar formation due to excessive treatment, insensitivity during sexual intercourse, reduced cervical secretions, and even low libido or cervical gland occlusion, causing changes in cervical mucus and infertility, or causing cervical dilation disorders during delivery and difficult delivery. These reasons are the key reasons why female friends are reluctant to choose physical therapy.

Physical therapy: used for cervical erosion with larger erosion area and deeper inflammatory infiltration.

① Electric ironing: Use a special electric iron to burn the eroded surface tissue, causing it to necrotize and fall off, and the ironing must reach a certain depth, so that the treatment effect is good.

② Cryotherapy: Use a special rapid freezing device to freeze, necrotize and fall off the diseased tissue on the cervical erosion surface. The commonly used cryogen is liquid nitrogen, which can reduce the temperature of the cryostat to -196 degrees Celsius and place it on the surface of the cervix to freeze the eroded tissue, causing it to necrotize and fall off, and then new epithelial tissue will grow. It can be cured in 1 time. There are generally no adverse reactions, and a few patients experience mild dizziness, lower abdominal pain, etc.

The above content introduces us to the relevant issues of what to do with cervical erosion and pelvic inflammatory disease. We must not slack off during the treatment process. Some of our patients with cervical erosion and pelvic inflammatory disease can use the above methods for treatment. I believe everyone can get rid of the troubles brought by this disease as soon as possible.
