How should chronic vulvitis be treated?

Private itching is a problem that bothers many women, but many women feel embarrassed and are too ashamed to seek treatment even if they have symptoms, so they keep delaying the treatment and eventually develop gynecological diseases over time. Vulvitis is the most common gynecological disease, and almost every woman suffers from vulvitis at least once in her life. How should we treat chronic vulvitis? The editor will tell you several methods of drug treatment.

Under normal circumstances, the vagina is home to a lot of bacteria, but because an ingenious ecological balance is formed between the vagina and these bacteria, vulvar inflammation does not normally occur.

1. Drugs for treating fungal vulvitis: For fungal vulvitis, you can use 2-3% soda solution to rinse the vulva and vagina or take a sitz bath. After gently drying, place a nystatin suppository deep in the vagina, or apply nystatin cream on the vaginal wall, once a night or once in the morning and evening for a total of 10-14 days. About 50-80% of patients can be cured with the above treatment.

2. Flushing drugs to assist in the treatment of vulvitis: Generally, when treating candidal vulvovaginitis, it is recommended to prepare baking soda solution yourself; when treating trichomoniasis vulvovaginitis, some weakly acidic flushing solutions can be used, and the more commonly used one is chlorhexidine acetate solution. There are also some compound preparations that are suitable for various types of vaginitis, which can also be purchased by yourself, such as Fuyinjie, Jieryin, Yidajiebao, etc.

3. Daily vulvar wash: From a medical point of view, daily washing can be done with cooled boiled water. A little vinegar can be added if necessary. There is no need to use special washes. However, it is not necessary to use the lotion for a long time.

Many women suffer from vaginitis, but if we pay more attention to the details of our lives, we may be able to keep vulvovaginitis at bay. Good hygiene habits: pay more attention when using public facilities, wear loose cotton underwear, try not to use sanitary napkins and panty liners, wash the vulva daily, but try to avoid flushing the vagina.

Vulvitis can also affect women's sexual life and may be transmitted to their partners. Vulvitis can affect female reproductive function and may even lead to cancer. Therefore, female friends should take active prevention measures, pay more attention to keeping the vulva clean, wash it with clean water once every night, and change underwear frequently.
