Precautions after uterine adhesion surgery

Although surgical treatment of intrauterine adhesions cannot be called major surgery, there are still many common problems to be mastered! Basically help medical staff to strictly manage wounds after surgery. Don't run around, don't untie the gauze covering the wound casually, and don't touch the wound hard or clean it with tap water. Keep the wound clean and dry.

In addition, with the approval of the doctor, try to get out of bed and move around as early as possible. This is very beneficial for increasing breathing depth, promoting blood circulation, restoring the intestines and stomach, and improving appetite. Actually, let’s talk about mastering a few aspects!

1. It is normal to have a small amount of bleeding or discharge (also known as hemorrhage) within two months after the operation. If it is more, you can come to the hospital for follow-up. Sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited during this period.

2. Go to the hospital for follow-up in the first and third months after surgery, and then once every six months

3. Transurethral resection of the uterine wall has a certain contraceptive effect, but it is not certain.

4. Patients with cervical fibroids can become pregnant 3 to 6 months after surgery

5. Patients who have undergone uterine polyp removal or intrauterine adhesion lysis can have their first menstruation within one month.

6. Patients with intrauterine adhesions should follow the doctor's instructions to take Progynova and Corpus Lutein Copper for 3 months, and then go to the hospital for a follow-up visit for hysteroscopy to understand the condition of the uterine cavity. Do not stop taking or miss a dose of Progynova and Copper Progesterone during the period of taking the drug.

What should be noted after cervical adhesion surgery: Normally, there is a potential cavity in the woman's uterus, which is the place where menarche and fetal development occur. When cervical adhesion occurs, a uterine separation surgery is required, followed by placement of an IUD. This can prevent adhesions from occurring again in the uterine cavity. Therefore, after such an operation, the patient must pay attention to rest, do not do heavy work within a week, and cannot have sex within ten days.
