Purulent vaginitis is mostly an inflammation caused by infection with anaerobic bacteria or streptococci. It is a type of bacterial vaginitis. Vaginitis is a common gynecological disease among women, especially in gynecological clinics. It is a major killer that endangers women's gynecological health, along with other gynecological diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease and cervicitis. The treatment process is also relatively complicated and difficult, and it is difficult to completely cure it. Purulent vaginitis is caused by purulent bacterial infection and is more common in elderly women and young children. Due to insufficient ovarian function, low estrogen levels, thin vaginal epithelium and weak resistance, they are easily invaded by purulent cocci and cause infection. The main clinical manifestations and diagnosis are increased leucorrhea, yellow watery or purulent, or bloody discharge, which may be accompanied by vulvar burning or itching. Young children often have redness and swelling of the vulva and purulent discharge, and attention should be paid to the presence of foreign matter in the vagina. The vaginal mucosa of elderly women shrinks, appears smooth and congested, has bleeding spots, and has a lot of purulent secretions, which is also called "senile vaginitis." Trichomonas, fungal infection and genital tract malignancies must be excluded. The treatment principle for elderly patients is to enhance vaginal resistance and inhibit bacterial growth. You can take 0.125-0.5 mg of acetaminophen orally. Phenol 0.5 mg is inserted into the vagina once every night, and a course of treatment is 7 to 10 days. If local inflammation is obvious, antibiotics can be added at the same time, such as metronidazole or one tablet of furazolidone (containing 50 mg of furazolidone and 10 mg of furazolidone). Phenol 0.25 mg) is placed in the vagina once a night, 7 to 10 g per day as a course of treatment. Young girls can rinse the vulva with potassium permanganate solution 2 to 3 times a day, take 0.05 to 0.1 mg of ethidium bromide orally every day for 5 to 7 days, and at the same time, drip corresponding antibiotics into the vagina. If there is a foreign object in the vagina, it should be removed. Currently, the main method for treating vaginitis is drug treatment. Some antibiotics can be taken orally to effectively kill bacteria and fungi. Vaginal suppositories are also very necessary and can directly and effectively play a therapeutic role. Patients should also eat more foods that can enhance their physical fitness during this period. |
