Lower abdomen and anal pain during ovulation

Lower abdomen and anal pain during ovulation

Some couples who are preparing for pregnancy will have sex during the ovulation period to achieve the best pregnancy results. Each menstrual period of women has its symptoms, especially during the ovulation period, which is the most important menstrual period. By understanding the symptoms, you can also judge the health of women. What causes pain in the lower abdomen and anus during ovulation?

Abdominal and anal pain during ovulation

Anal prolapse is one of the symptoms of ovulation. During the ovulation period, the mature follicles in the uterus and ovaries of women will gradually grow. When they grow to a diameter of 18-22mm, they will be discharged from the uterus and ovaries.

During ovulation, the rupture of the follicle will cause egg fluid or estrogen to enter the abdomen, flow into the pelvis, and even into the duodenal vaginal space, which will irritate the retroperitoneum of the pelvic wall, causing dull pain. Generally, the symptoms will not last too long and will not be too severe, so there is no need to worry.

However, most women do not experience abdominal pain during ovulation. At this time, you should consider whether there are other reasons. If this happens frequently, it is best to go to the hospital to check whether there are other symptoms.

The key symptoms of ovulation are:

1. Anal prolapse or pain in one side of the lower abdomen

Some women are more sensitive and may feel a slight feeling of falling at the anus around the 12th day of their menstrual period, as well as slight pain in one side of the lower abdomen. This is because the perfect egg cell is discharged from the surface of the ovary to break through the follicle that encapsulates the egg cell surface, and a small amount of fluid in the follicle will flow into the lowest position of the pelvis.

2. Ovulation bleeding and temperature rise

Some women experience bleeding during ovulation. This is because the uterus and ovaries are responsible for the metabolism of women's endocrine growth hormones, and the fluctuations in the body's estrogen excretion before and after ovulation are caused by this. After ovulation, due to the secretion of estrogen, the body temperature rises slightly after ovulation. If you can measure the ovulation body temperature every morning, you can calculate your ovulation time according to the changes in body temperature.

3. Increased secretions in women

During the ovulation period, women's secretions will increase significantly, showing a thinner milky white color. The private parts will become more and more wet and slippery, and there will be egg white-like strips of mucus when wiping with toilet paper. This type of increase in female secretions usually lasts for 2-3 days, which is the time when women are most likely to become pregnant.

How to detect ovulation

1. Ovulation temperature method

During a woman's menstrual cycle, her body temperature changes regularly during ovulation. The basic body temperature is lower after menstruation and in the follicular phase. After ovulation, the uterus and ovaries produce progesterone, which acts on the hypothalamic-pituitary immune nerve center, causing the body temperature to rise by 0.3-0.5℃, which lasts until 1-2 days before menstruation or the first day of menstruation, when the body temperature returns to its original level. Therefore, women need to start measuring their body temperature from the first day of their menstrual period, and record the daily measured body temperature to make a basal body temperature chart. It should be noted that women in the pregnancy preparation period must have a normal life routine, their daily sleep quality should be maintained at more than 6 hours, and the daily measurement time should be basically the same.

2. Cervical mucus method

During the ovulation period, women can put their fingers deep into the vagina, pick up some mucus discharged from the cervix, and basically pull it into a thin thread up to 10 cm long. After ovulation, the amount of mucus secretion decreases significantly, the ductility is poor, and it is very easy to break when the metal is drawn. If women insist on observing and recording the state of mucus every night and understand the changes in mucus, they can easily find their ovulation period. The method is very simple and easy to operate.

3. Ovulation test strips

In each physiological cycle of women, the progesterone in the urine is converted into growth hormone (LH), which will reach a peak value within 24-48 hours before ovulation. The use of ovulation test strips can more accurately detect the highest level of LH. After starting the test, you should perform the test regularly every day. When a color close to the peak value appears, you should test it every 12 hours until the highest LH value is detected. This type of ovulation test is highly accurate and inexpensive, making it an ideal way for women to self-test their ovulation period.
