1. Purulent leucorrhea: yellow or yellow-green in color, sticky, and often smelly. It can be caused by acute vaginitis, cervicitis, and endocervicitis caused by bacteria such as Trichomonas or gonococci. Pyometra, cervical cancer, vaginal cancer or foreign objects retained in the vagina can also cause pus-like leucorrhea.

2. Watery leucorrhea: Continuous discharge of watery leucorrhea like rice washing water with a pungent odor is generally caused by advanced cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, or submucosal fibroids with infection. If you have intermittent discharge of yellow or red watery vaginal discharge, you should be aware of the possibility of fallopian tube cancer.

3. Curd-like leucorrhea: It is a characteristic of candidal vaginitis, often accompanied by severe vulvar itching or burning pain. Leucorrhea with blood

4. Bloody leucorrhea: If there is blood mixed in the leucorrhea, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical polyps or submucosal fibroids should be considered. Insertion of an intrauterine device can also cause bloody leucorrhea.

Symptoms of abnormal leucorrhea:

1. Excessive leucorrhea, white or light yellow, thick and odorless

2. The leucorrhea is thin and heavy, and there is back pain and cold limbs.

3. Excessive, yellow, sticky, and foul-smelling vaginal discharge, or vaginal discharge that is like bean curd residue and has a foul odor, vaginal itching, frequent urination, and painful urination

4. The vaginal discharge is reddish-white, or pus-like, with a foul odor, and there is lower abdominal pain, persistent fever, yellow urine, and constipation.
