What to do if you have stomach pain during pregnancy

With the rapid development of economy, people's life pressure is increasing and the pace of life is getting faster and faster. When two newlyweds form a new family, especially in a combined family where both parties are only children, the girl's pregnancy can be said to be the heart of all the hopes of both families! However, the new generation of parents who are only children have very little experience! Therefore, when a girl becomes pregnant, she must learn more about pregnancy-related knowledge, and pay more attention to her body, and never let herself get sick!

The symptoms of stomach pain during pregnancy are aggravated, which is a normal physiological phenomenon, mainly due to endocrine changes during pregnancy. The increase in the secretion of multiple hormones significantly prolongs the gastric emptying time and intestinal transit time during pregnancy, so there is often a feeling of fullness after eating. In addition, the tension of the lower esophageal sphincter during pregnancy is also reduced, and the pressure in the esophagus of pregnant women is low while the pressure in the stomach is high, so the acidic secretions reflux to the lower esophagus, causing stomach pain during pregnancy to worsen. This is especially true for those with a history of chronic gastritis or chronic gastric ulcers, especially when the body position changes. In terms of daily diet, be careful not to eat too spicy food, eat small meals frequently, and eat less high-starch food to reduce gastric acid secretion. If the stomach disease worsens, you need to go to the gastroenterology department for treatment, use some gastric mucosal medicines, and apply a hot water bag to the affected area, which is good for relieving pain and generally has no effect on the fetus. It is recommended that if the pain is unbearable, you should go to the hospital for treatment in time.

You can first add some warm milk. It can not only neutralize excess stomach acid, but also form a protective layer on the surface of diseased mucosa. If it is the first three months of pregnancy, which is the period of organ formation, it is easy to cause developmental deformities. So don't take medicine unless it's absolutely necessary. If you are pregnant in late stages, penicillins (such as amoxicillin) are relatively safe.

It is recommended to adjust it through your own diet and avoid eating irritating foods.
