As a woman, you actually have your own worries, especially regarding your gynecological problems. Many women have gynecological diseases. One reason is that they do not pay attention to hygiene in their daily lives. Another reason is that they have problems with sexual intercourse. Another reason is that malignant ovarian cysts are relatively common among women. Many people do not understand the characteristics of this disease. Let me explain it to you here. Benign ovarian tumors are usually asymptomatic in the early stages and are often discovered during gynecological examinations or when complications occur after the tumor grows. 1. Abdominal mass The patient feels that the lower abdominal mass is gradually increasing or a mass is touched in the abdomen. Or a mass is found during a gynecological examination. 2. Compression symptoms Huge benign ovarian tumors can cause compression symptoms. For example, compression of the diaphragm can cause palpitations and dyspnea; increased intra-abdominal pressure affects the venous return of the lower limbs, which can cause edema of both lower limbs; compression of the bladder can cause frequent urination, dysuria or urinary retention; tumors located in the rectouterine pouch can compress the rectum and cause a feeling of falling or difficulty in defecation; compression of the gastrointestinal tract can also cause upper abdominal discomfort and loss of appetite. 3. Abdominal pain Benign ovarian tumors generally do not cause abdominal pain. When abdominal pain occurs, especially when it occurs suddenly, it is mostly caused by torsion of the ovarian tumor pedicle, and occasionally by tumor rupture, bleeding or infection. For patients with benign ovarian tumors, the ovarian tumor on the affected side must be removed. During the operation, the condition of the opposite ovary must be checked. If there is also a tumor on the opposite side, it must be removed and a pathological examination must be performed at the same time. However, it is easy to relapse after surgery. For patients with malignant tumors: Surgery is the preferred method, and the scope of surgery should be wide. Generally, the entire uterus, bilateral adnexa and omentum are removed. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are also required after surgery. Many times women do not know that they have malignant ovarian cysts until they are discovered in the later stages. This requires women to understand their own body changes well and to detect gynecological diseases and treat them early to avoid some serious problems in the later stage. Finally, I wish all women good health and a happy life. |
