Treatment and prevention of oral ulcers

Oral ulcers are a common oral problem in people's lives. Lack of dietary restraint, consumption of spicy foods, and staying up late can all cause oral ulcers. In fact, prevention of oral ulcers is more important than treatment. In many cases, as long as we do a good job of prevention, oral ulcers will naturally stay away from us.

1. Treatment of oral ulcers

1: Tremella and lotus seeds soup: 25 grams of Tremella, 50 grams of lotus seeds. Wash the white fungus and lotus seeds with water, put them into the pot, add water and cook until the white fungus is cooked, add rock sugar or white glutinous rice to dissolve, and eat 1 small bowl each morning and evening. It can clear away heat and nourish yin.

2: Radish and fresh lotus root juice: several white radishes, 500 grams of fresh lotus root. Wash the radish and lotus root with water, mash them in a clean container, and squeeze out the juice with a double layer of sterilized gauze. Take an appropriate amount in your mouth several times a day and swallow it after a while.

Green tea and gallnut drink: use 25 grams of honey, 1 gram of green tea, and 10 grams of gallnut. Add 400 ml of water to gallnut, boil for 10 minutes, add green tea and honey, drink it slowly in 2 times after 5 minutes, and continue for 3 days.

2. Prevention of oral ulcers

1: Keep a happy mood and be optimistic and cheerful. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that if you are troubled by negative emotions such as irritability, depression, and depression for a long time, it is easy to produce "fire", which is also a common cause of oral ulcers.

Avoid damaging the oral mucosa. Especially for people with irregular teeth or dentures, ulcers are likely to occur frequently due to friction of the oral mucosa. Therefore, it is necessary to correct bad habits such as biting lips, cheeks, and tongue, remove remaining teeth, or modify inappropriate dentures.

Get enough sleep and avoid excessive fatigue. Long-term lack of sleep and excessive fatigue are common causes of recurrent oral ulcers. These improper behaviors will damage the body's yin and blood. When Yin is deficient, fire will be strong, which will often "come out" from the oral mucosa and cause oral ulcers.

Pay attention to oral hygiene. Many people are afraid to brush their teeth because of the pain, which is wrong. When you have an ulcer, you should still maintain the habit of brushing your teeth in the morning and evening and rinsing your mouth after meals. You can use boiled water with salt or medicated mouthwash to reduce oral bacteria and prevent secondary infection caused by food residues.
