The physical health of pregnant women is an issue that their families are most concerned about. If there is a problem with the pregnant woman's body, it will not only affect the pregnant woman herself but also the development of the fetus. Therefore, we recommend that pregnant women must pay attention to protecting their bodies in daily life. Once there is an abnormality in the body, it must be dealt with in time. Some pregnant women will have symptoms of malposition of the fetus at 35 weeks of pregnancy. Below we will introduce what to do if the fetus is in malposition at 35 weeks of pregnancy. Malposition of the fetus generally refers to the abnormal position of the fetus in the uterus after 30 weeks of pregnancy. It is more common in pregnant women and multiparous women with loose abdominal walls. Abnormal fetal positions include breech presentation, transverse presentation, occiput posterior presentation, facial presentation, etc. The breech presentation is the most common, while the transverse presentation poses the greatest threat to the mother and baby. Since abnormal fetal position will bring varying degrees of difficulty and danger to delivery, early correction of fetal position is of great significance in preventing dystocia. The position of the fetus in the uterus is called the fetal position. The normal fetal position should be that the longitudinal axis of the fetus is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the mother, the fetal head is at the entrance of the pelvis and is flexed, the chin is close to the chest wall, the spine is slightly bent forward, the limbs are flexed and crossed in front of the chest and abdomen, and the entire fetal body is oval, which is called occipital anterior position. Apart from this, all other fetal positions are abnormal fetal positions. In the second trimester, the fetal position may be abnormal, and will later automatically turn into an occiput anterior position. If the fetal position is still abnormal in the late pregnancy, it is called abnormal fetal position, also known as "malposition of the fetus". Common malpositions include the arm position with the fetal buttocks at the entrance of the pelvis, the horizontal position with the longitudinal axis of the fetus perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the mother, or the oblique position. The causes of malposition of the fetus include uterine hypoplasia, uterine malformation, narrow pelvis, pelvic tumors, fetal malformation, polyhydramnios and other factors. Abnormal fetal position during delivery can cause dystocia, which often requires surgical intervention. If not handled properly, it may even endanger the lives of the mother and fetus. There is no disease name for abnormal fetal position in traditional Chinese medical literature, but it can be seen in "dystocia" or "difficult labor". The cause of the disease is just as stated in "Essentials of Preserving Childbirth", "There are eight reasons for difficult labor. Some are due to transverse or reverse fetal development; some are due to drainage of the placenta; some are due to the woman being short or being forced to marry off at an old age, resulting in the pubic region not opening; some are due to fat body and normal relaxation; some are due to overgrowth of the fetus; and some are due to deficiency of Qi." This is consistent with the theory of modern medicine. The main pathogenesis is qi and blood deficiency and qi stagnation and blood stasis. Clinically, pregnant women are weak, insufficient in vital energy, tired and weak in limbs, and unable to promote the right position of the fetus; or because of excessive comfort in daily life, or being affected by cold evil, cold stagnation and blood stasis, qi stagnation, blood obstruction, qi stagnation and blood stasis; also because of fear and timidity during pregnancy, liver qi stagnation and qi malfunction, which leads to malposition of the fetus. The book "The Complete Collection of Good Prescriptions for Women·Difficult Childbirth" points out: "Blood is the main factor for women. If the qi flows smoothly, the blood will be harmonious. If the fetus is safe, the delivery will be smooth." Therefore, treatment should regulate qi and blood, so that when qi flows, blood will flow, and when blood flows, qi will flow smoothly. When qi and blood flow smoothly, the fetal position will naturally return to normal. However, the placenta is connected to the kidneys. While replenishing qi and blood, we must also strengthen the kidneys, so that the fetus can be strong and the qi can flow smoothly. Traditional Chinese medicine can correct abnormal fetal position without causing any harm to the fetus. In the above article, we introduced an issue that everyone is very concerned about, that is, the physical health of pregnant women. We recommend that pregnant friends should pay attention to protecting their bodies in their daily lives. The above article gives us a detailed introduction on what to do if the fetus is in an abnormal position at 35 weeks of pregnancy. |
