Symptoms of fetal arrest at 19 weeks of pregnancy

Being pregnant is a very happy thing. Thinking about how your newborn will look like every day, you will wake up with a smile after falling asleep. But not everyone can give birth to a baby smoothly. Some people may experience fetal arrest halfway, resulting in fetal death or miscarriage. I don't know if you pregnant mothers understand the changes in the fetus during pregnancy. The body transformation of pregnant women is closely linked to the growth and development of the fetus. The fetus continues to develop. If it stops growing, it is called fetal arrest. Next, let’s look at the symptoms of fetal arrest at 19 weeks of pregnancy.

1. Symptoms of fetal arrest:

1. First of all, the early pregnancy reaction will subside, nausea and retching will no longer occur, and you will no longer feel tired or sleepy. B-ultrasound examination revealed that the growth of the uterus had stopped and the weight of the pregnant woman had not increased.

2. Vaginal bleeding may occur, usually dark red bloody leucorrhea, with little bleeding.

3. Pain was felt in the lower abdomen, and examination revealed that the fetal heartbeat had stopped.

4. Most of the dead fetuses can be discharged spontaneously, but if they are not discharged after 3 weeks, symptoms such as general weakness, abdominal distension, and internal bleeding will appear.

Of course, not everyone will show these symptoms. Some pregnant women have no obvious symptoms after the fetus stops moving, some may have all the symptoms, and some will have abdominal pain and miscarriage directly. Fetal arrest is more likely to occur in early pregnancy, because in the early stages of pregnancy, the test tube embryo is very sensitive and can be easily affected by many factors.

2. Causes of fetal arrest

1. Genetic factors: If there are chromosomal abnormalities and genetic defects, the fetus is difficult to save.

2. Imbalance in growth hormone metabolism in pregnant women.

3. Diseases of the uterus.

4. External factors, such as: virus infection, excessive stress, contact with harmful chemicals, etc.

5. The pregnant woman is in poor health or has some serious illness.

6. Abnormal sperm.

Even if you have a miscarriage after fetal arrest, you still need to conduct a detailed examination to prevent any test tube embryo tissue from remaining in the uterus, so you must cooperate with the doctor's treatment. Although it is a sad thing, female friends still need to adjust their mentality and not be too sad, which is not good for the body's recovery. At the same time, we must understand the reasons clearly to prevent the same thing from happening again.
