What is the cause of pelvic effusion in B-ultrasound?

Women are prone to some gynecological problems. If they are not discovered and treated in time, the damage to the body will be more serious. Pelvic effusion found through B-ultrasound examination is also a condition that many women will encounter. However, many people do not understand why pelvic effusion occurs. So let’s take a look at the several reasons that lead to pelvic effusion in women.

If a small amount of "fluid accumulation" (20-30 ml) is detected in the rectouterine fossa for the first time, there is no need to be overly nervous, and there is no need to undergo "treatment" immediately. Consider whether:

(1) If the ovulation has just passed, the “fluid” is the follicular fluid;

(2) When menstruation has just ended, the "effusion" is caused by a small amount of backflow of menstrual blood;

(3) Constipation often occurs, with recurring dull pain in the lower abdomen and the urge to defecate. The pain will go away after the bowel movement. This is because abnormal intestinal peristalsis causes a small amount of intestinal fluid to leak out, leading to an increase in peritoneal fluid. If you have the above situation, there is no need to rush to take medicine. You can check the B-ultrasound again after 1-2 months, especially after you have cleared out the old stool as soon as possible, for comparison. Generally speaking, a small amount of pelvic fluid accumulation is not a disease, and a small amount of pelvic fluid accumulation can be absorbed by itself. If there is fluid accumulation due to pelvic inflammatory disease, the amount of fluid accumulation will be more than 100 ml. The pelvic effusion caused by tuberculous peritonitis is most obvious, and a large amount of ascites can be detected in B-ultrasound examination.

From the above introduction, we will find that the reason why many women have pelvic effusion is that they do not pay attention to reproductive health and hygiene in their lives, or do not take good care of themselves after childbirth and miscarriage. This can easily cause bacterial infection, thereby causing pelvic effusion or other gynecological diseases.
