1. Do not eat excessively greasy or high-protein foods and avoid drinking too much alcohol the day before the blood test. The alcohol content in your blood will immediately affect the test results.

3. Relax your body when drawing blood for testing to avoid contraction of blood vessels due to fear, which will increase the difficulty of blood collection.

2. Pay attention after blood test

1. After blood test, you need to press the needle hole locally for 3-5 minutes to activate blood circulation. Note: Do not rub to avoid causing subcutaneous hematoma.

2. The pressing time should be sufficient. The clotting time of each person is different, and some people need a little longer to clot. Therefore, if you stop the compression immediately when the skin surface does not seem to be bleeding, the blood may not be fully activated and seep into the subcutaneous tissue, causing bruises. Therefore, you need to press gently for a longer time to thoroughly activate the blood circulation. If there is a tendency of bleeding, the pressing time should be increased.

3. If you experience symptoms of needle phobia such as dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, etc. after blood test, you should lie down immediately and drink a small amount of red bean sugar water. Wait until the symptoms are alleviated before conducting a routine physical examination.

4. If there is local blood accumulation, apply a hot and damp cotton towel to the face after 24 hours to promote absorption.
