Why do women wear bras

Female breasts are two hemispheres and have two functions: one is to secrete milk to feed the baby; the other is to be a sexual organ that is very sensitive to sexual stimulation and produces a series of reactions to sexual stimulation. The nipple is located in the center of the breast, and the darker area around the nipple is called the areola. Below the breasts are the chest muscles. If the chest muscles are well developed, they can lift the breasts and make them look more fit. There are alveoli in the breast, which are clusters of small balls that look like grapes. The nipples are rich in nerve endings, are very sensitive, and can cause erections. There are ligaments inside the breasts that lift the breasts and keep them in a certain shape.

When girls are 9-10 years old, their breasts begin to develop

The amount of breast tissue increases and the appearance of the breast also increases. After 4-5 years of development, that is, by around the age of 15, the breasts have taken shape, become fuller, and the nipples have enlarged, thus showing the unique curves of women. In order to maintain the beauty of breasts, you should pay great attention to breast care.

Generally speaking, young women should start wearing bras when they are 15 years old.

Although the use of bras is very common, many people still don't quite understand its health significance. Some are still influenced by feudal ideas, believing that "girls have grown up and should wear tight underwear to be elegant." Wrapping the chest tightly will not only hinder breast development and cause breast deformation, but also affect future breastfeeding. From the perspective of medical science, bras play a very important role in female physiology. Because the breasts are mainly composed of a thick layer of fat, which makes the breasts full and elastic, but they do not have large bundles of muscles, only very few scattered tiny smooth muscle cells. Therefore, it is easy for the breasts to change from being raised to being sagging, and once they sag, they can never return to their original state.

Wearing a bra is not just for a healthy body

Firstly, after using a bra, the breasts are evenly stressed in all directions. When stress is applied to one side, the stress can be dispersed in all directions, thus providing good protection. It can also support and hold up the breasts, so that the blood circulation of the breasts is unobstructed, preventing mammary blood flow blockage, which is beneficial to breast development and enhancing resistance. Second, bras hold up the breasts and reduce the up and down vibration of the breasts when walking, exercising or working. This can not only avoid the nipples from being damaged by severe friction on the underwear, but also prevent the breast tissue from sagging and helping to accumulate fat and increase elasticity. Because breast enlargement mainly relies on fat accumulation and growth of milk ducts, it shows its plump characteristics. Wearing a bra during breastfeeding can prevent breast sagging and keep nipples clean to prevent mastitis.
