What is the safe period?

With the development of modern science and technology, many women can already take charge of their own households and do not need to rely on men for living. This is necessary, but there is one thing we cannot deny, that is, from ancient times to the present, women have been responsible for the task of passing on the family line, but now women all have their own jobs, and they will also choose to get pregnant when they think it is appropriate. So how should we choose the period? This requires us to understand our own physiological cycle.

What is the menstrual cycle? This mainly refers to the "safe period" during which we have sex. The formation of women's menstruation has a certain cycle, and an egg will be formed during this cycle. If the egg does not encounter suitable conditions when it is discharged, it will be attracted by our body. This is what we call the "safe period". Next, let us briefly introduce how the safe period is calculated.

The "safe period" refers to the time interval during the menstrual cycle when the egg will not meet the sperm to become a fertilized egg. Since the egg can be fertilized within two or three days after being released, and the sperm can survive for three or four days after being released and can enter the egg, if the ovulation day (usually 14 days before menstruation) is taken as the base, the first four days and the last five days are the dangerous period, and the rest are the safe period. For example, if your period comes on the 28th, then normally your ovulation period would be on the 14th. So, having sex between the 11th and 19th is likely to lead to fertilization and pregnancy. Therefore, the 11th to 19th is called the "dangerous period"; the rest of the time is the "safe period". However, since it is difficult for most people to grasp the exact date of ovulation (in fact, the body temperature on the day of ovulation is higher than usual, the viscosity of vaginal mucus increases, etc.), most people calculate the "safe period" based on the menstrual period, with the 7 days before menstruation and the 5 days after menstruation as the "safe period". If you have your period on the 28th and are clean on the 31st, then the "safe period" is from the 21st of this month to the 5th of next month.

The above is the method for calculating the safe period. Of course, because every woman's physical condition is different, especially the increasing severity of modern environmental pollution, radiation pollution, etc., sometimes it will affect a woman's ovulation. Therefore, if we only calculate according to the above method, there may be a certain error. Therefore, if we are women who do not need children for the time being, we may consider using other contraceptive facilities.
