Genital warts are a reproductive tract infection caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, with the specific manifestation of proliferative damage to the anus and sexual organs. Most of them occur in young people aged 18 to 50. So what are the main symptoms of the dangerous period of congenital eczema? Let’s take a look.

The main manifestations of the dangerous period of condyloma

Experts point out that the length of the dangerous period of genital warts varies from person to person. Some people have a short dangerous period of genital warts, while others have a longer dangerous period of genital warts. According to statistics, the dangerous period of genital warts is 3 weeks to 8 months, with an average of 2.8 months. Male and female patients with an average history of illness of 3-5 months will develop the disease soon after contact. The dangerous period of genital warts in this case is very short.

When the dangerous period of genital warts develops to a certain extent, it will break out. At the beginning of the outbreak, erythema and papule-like growths will appear on the genitals, around the anus, clitoris, vulva and other places, accompanied by varying degrees of itching, pain, as well as foul odor and fishy smell.

Experts pointed out that according to the current medical level in China, the HPV virus cannot be detected during the dangerous period of genital warts, so genital warts cannot be diagnosed. Only when the HPV virus in the body reaches a certain number can it be detected that you are infected with genital warts through advanced instruments. At this time, the patient's body may have already responded, with some mild symptoms, or may not have any symptoms yet. In either case, theoretically speaking, the patient is no longer in the critical period of genital warts.

Symptom Details

The dangerous period is from January to August, with an average of March, and mainly occurs in sexually active people.

1. Typical condyloma acuminatum

The most common locations are the sexual organs and around the anus. For men, the most common locations are foreskin, frenulum of the penis, coronal sulcus, glans penis, urethral opening, male genital body, around the anus, inside the duodenum and scrotum. For women, the most common locations are the labia majora and minora, posterior synovia, vestibule function, clitoris, cervix and around the anus. Occasionally, it can be seen in places other than the private parts and around the anus, such as the armpits, navel, mouth, breasts, and between the toes. Gynecological inflammation in women and long foreskin in men are the driving factors for the occurrence of genital warts.

The lesion initially appears as tiny pink papules, which then gradually expand and increase in size, appearing singly or in groups, moist and soft, with an uneven surface, and appearing as nipple-like, cockscomb-shaped, or cauliflower-shaped protrusions. Bright red or dirty dark grey. There are often pedicles at the roots, which are prone to produce erosive exudate and bleed easily when touched. Purulent secretions often accumulate in the gaps between skin lesions, causing a foul odor, and secondary infection may occur due to scratching. This disease often has no active symptoms, and some patients may experience discomfort, pain, itching or pain during sexual intercourse. Genital warts in the duodenum can cause pain, blood in the stool, and a feeling of anal prolapse.

2. HPV subclinical infection

It means that HPV infection is clinically invisible to the human eye, but direct evidence of HPV infection can be found by acetic acid whitening test (the area turns white after wiping or applying 5% acetic acid solution on the face), histopathology or DNA testing technology.

3. Association with tumors

Many clinical epidemiological materials show that HPV infection (mainly high-risk HPV, such as HPV-16 and HPV-18) is closely related to the occurrence of sexual organ cancers, such as cervical cancer and penile cancer.

The prognosis is generally good after treatment. However, no matter which treatment method is used, recurrence may occur.

How to prevent genital herpes?

1. Strictly prevent sexual promiscuity

Patients with genital warts are mainly infected through sexual intercourse. One party in the family gets sick from social development, infects immediate family members through sexual intercourse, and transmits it to relatives through close daily contact, which not only causes physical pain but also leads to discord. Therefore, improving sexual morality and avoiding extramarital sex are the key aspects of preventing the occurrence of genital warts. Make sure your sex partner gets treatment as well.

2. Avoid infection and pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene

Do not use other people's underwear, swimsuits and bathtubs; do not take a bath in a public bathroom, it is recommended to take a shower, and do not sit on the bathroom seat immediately after showering; use a squat toilet in a public bathroom as much as possible; wash your hands with soap before and after urinating.
