Can pregnant women smell the scent of essential oil?

Cooling oil has the effects of refreshing, relieving pain, dispelling wind and relieving itching. Cooling oil is something that people like to use more in summer. Many people will rub cooling oil on their bodies to reduce inflammation and swelling in summer. The smell of cooling oil is quite strong, and some people don’t like the smell. In particular, there are many things that pregnant women cannot touch. So, can pregnant women smell the smell of cooling oil?

If a woman is pregnant, she must not touch cooling oil. Cooling oil has blood-activating ingredients. Long-term contact may cause miscarriage. But don't be too anxious, as long as you don't smell it often. But remember not to use cooling oil, as it is prohibited for pregnant women to use. It is very harmful to the fetus.

The main ingredients of the cooling oil are the same as those of the wind oil, with camphor balls, mint, dragon's blood and eucalyptus oil. Mothballs have certain toxic side effects. When ordinary people apply cooling oil, the glucose sulfate dehydrogenase in the body will quickly combine with the camphor ball to turn it into a non-toxic substance, which is then excreted from the body with urine, so it is not easy to cause side effects.

However, due to physiological changes during pregnancy, the content of glucose sulfate dehydrogenase in the expectant mother's body will decrease, especially in the first three months of pregnancy. During these three months, if the expectant mother uses too much cooling oil, the camphor balls will be absorbed into the body through the skin, and then enter the amniotic cavity through the placenta barrier to act on the fetus, affecting the development of the fetus, and in severe cases can cause fetal malformations, fetal death or miscarriage. During the first three months of pregnancy, the fetus is in the stage of organ division, the damage is more significant and the harm is greater. It can be seen that the harm of mothballs is really great for pregnant women.

Therefore, expectant mothers, you should not use cooling oil when you are pregnant! Especially in the first three months, you must pay attention. For normal times, it’s okay to smell it sometimes, but if you smell it often, you will still want it!
