Common symptoms of cervical insufficiency

Common symptoms of cervical insufficiency

Being able to have a healthy baby is the dream of every woman, but now the probability of infertility in daily life is also very high, and there are many reasons for this situation, such as cervical incompetence, so what are the manifestations of cervical incompetence in daily life?

Cervical insufficiency is also known as incomplete closure of the cervix or cervical relaxation. The proportion of cervical fibrosis, collagen fiber and smooth muscle in patients with this disease is relatively small, or it is caused by the rupture of fibrous tissue inside the cervical opening, which reduces the dilation ability and finally causes the physiological expansion and relaxation of the cervix. The main manifestations of cervical insufficiency are usually premature births and recurring miscarriages in the second or third trimester, and the chance of recurring miscarriages is relatively high.

Common Classifications of Cervical Insufficiency

First, congenital diseases. The cervical wall of patients in this situation is relatively thin, and the load-bearing capacity is relatively poor, or the cervical position develops relatively rapidly. In addition, most of these patients also have symptoms of uterine enlargement and small uterus.

Second, patients with cervical erosion have undergone cervical conization surgery, which usually leaves scars on the cervix, damages the strength of the cervical muscles, and even shortens the length of the cervix.

Third, for those who have undergone multiple abortions, when the cervical canal is still open for hours, some hard lumps force their way through the cervix into the uterus, causing the cervix to relax and even cause tearing.

Fourth, some female patients with polycystic ovary usually have symptoms of uterine insufficiency, and the occurrence of this condition is related to a person's growth hormone.

The common manifestations of cervical insufficiency and the classification of this condition have been introduced in detail. Of course, this disease must not be taken lightly, because this disease can easily cause miscarriage. Therefore, it is necessary to seek medical treatment in time after the onset of the disease to avoid miscarriage or late infertility.
