Can an 18-year-old girl still grow taller?

Can an 18-year-old girl still grow taller?

At the age of 18, girls' height is basically fixed. I belong to the type that grows and develops relatively slowly. However, I grew 5 centimeters taller afterwards, from 150 cm to 155 cm. When I put on high heels, I don't feel that I am shorter than others anymore. This is thanks to my 3 improvements, which I will share with you below.

Can I still grow taller at 18?

1. Increased age

For women, the best age to grow taller is generally between 3 and 14 years old, which is the time before menarche. This time range is the period when women's height increases significantly, and it is the best age to grow taller. With the menarche and age increase, the bones will gradually grow towards perfection and will not grow significantly. However, between the ages of 14 and 20, there will be a slow decline in height growth process, and it is not completely impossible to grow taller, so it is actually possible to grow taller at the age of 18.

2. Nutritional enhancement method

In fact, the first condition for growth is nutrition. Any height-increasing product will have no practical effect without its own nutrition as a support. In fact, growth mainly requires increasing the intake of protein and carbohydrates. Therefore, you should eat more foods containing these two trace elements, such as pasta, beans, crabs, shellfish, chicken breast, beef, pork leg, protein foods, milk, eggs and dark brown vegetables, etc. Sugary foods will inhibit the digestion and absorption of high-quality protein and affect bone growth. Therefore, desserts should be avoided as much as possible. In addition, salt will also have a certain inhibitory effect on bone growth, so the daily diet should be light and low in salt.

3. Fitness exercise to improve

In fact, the various height-increasing products and height-increasing equipment that are well-known and promoted on the market are either false propaganda or have no obvious effect. In fact, the best, most natural and healthiest way to increase height is the original exercise plus nutrition. While improving nutrition, you should strengthen your daily exercise and do more stretching exercises, such as long jump, high jump, playing basketball, and touching the high school. However, not all exercises can help you grow taller. Some expansive exercises will inhibit height growth, such as barbell training, swimming, snatch, etc. Therefore, these expansive exercises should be reduced as much as possible.
