Is there a hard lump in the milk that needs to be squeezed out?

During pregnancy, due to physiological reasons, women's breasts will undergo "secondary growth", becoming taller and fuller. During the lactation period, women's breasts will continue to be plump, but after weaning, because the body no longer needs milk secretion, the breasts may become loose and shrink. So, can the lumps be squeezed out when the milk is withdrawn?

Can I squeeze out the lumps when my milk is weaning?

If there are lumps in your milk when it is weaning, do not squeeze them out, and do not use a manual breast pump to suck them out, as the more you suck, the more lumps will come out. If you have lumps, you are not likely to get mastitis.

1. Of course, the method after weaning

1) If you want to stop producing milk, you can wear a fitted or tight bra to suppress milk secretion.

2) Reduce the frequency and amount of breastfeeding for babies or stop them from breastfeeding.

3) Eat less protein-rich foods.

2. Food de-milking method

Maltose syrup: 60 grams of roasted malt, add appropriate amount of old brown sugar, put it in a pot and bring to a boil, remove the residue and eat it once a day for 1-2 weeks.

3. Drugs to stop breastfeeding

This method can be used for breastfeeding people who have abundant milk or want to stop breastfeeding quickly. Generally, you should go to the hospital outpatient clinic to get milk-reducing injections, take milk-reducing medicines, and take medications.

Of course, the method of weaning

1. Reduce irritation to nipples. For example, reduce the frequency of breastfeeding your baby every day, extend the interval between breastfeeding, and shorten the duration of each breastfeeding. In addition, avoid washing breasts with boiling water.

2. There is no need to squeeze out the milk thoroughly. If your breasts are swollen and painful, you can express the milk, but don't express it too much, otherwise it will promote milk secretion, which is not worth the loss. You can use medical ice packs to cool your breasts to relieve the feeling of swelling.

3. Eat more foods that help with weaning. Such as barley tea, malt syrup, amaranth, pepper, star anise (cumin), chicken essence, ginseng, hawthorn berry, chocolate, eggplant, maltose, raw loquat leaves, scrambled eggs with toon, malted milk, raw hawthorn and other ingredients. It is forbidden to eat foods that promote the secretion of milk, such as peanut kernels, pig's feet, grass carp, soup vegetables and other protein-rich foods, which can reduce the secretion of milk.

4. Pay attention to the time of weaning. Don't wean in the summer, because the hot weather in summer weakens the digestive tract's absorption function. If you add too much baby food to your child after weaning, it will easily cause indigestion or even gastrointestinal diseases such as diarrhea. Don't wean during the child's illness, because the child's resistance to illness is weak, his digestion function is not good, and his body is very weak. If you wean at this time, it will inevitably affect the body's recovery and even aggravate the condition.

5. There is no need to use force or intimidation to wean your baby. It is not advisable to force children to wean by applying sweet, bitter or colored substances on the nipples. Baby food should be made delicious so that children will like it. In the long run, children will no longer be willing to drink milk.
