Where is the ovulation-stimulating injection given? The ovulation-stimulating injection is for women who have abnormal ovulation period. We know that the ovulation period is very important for pregnancy preparation, so how to use the ovulation-stimulating injection? Where should I hit? Let’s take a look at it in action below.

1Where is the injection for ovulation stimulation given?

The injection for promoting ovulation belongs to intramuscular injection, which can be injected into the buttocks or deltoid muscles. The richer the muscles, the easier it is to absorb and the less pain.

The ovulation-stimulating injection is usually used to treat ovulation disorders caused by poor uterine development or unruptured follicles. It is usually injected into the lumbar muscle and should be used under the specific guidance of a doctor. After the injection, an ultrasound follicle is required to monitor growth and ovulation. It is not recommended to inject the same location every day, as this will cause swelling and discomfort in some parts of the skin. It is recommended to alternate injections according to the body's condition. If both sides are not good, consider injecting the deltoid muscle, which is also subcutaneous tissue.

2How to inject ovulation-stimulating injection

From the third to the fifth day of menstruation or withdrawal bleeding, women are given an injection of 1-2 ml of sodium hydroxide solution containing FSH75 and LH75 every day for seven consecutive days. During this period, be sure to use B-ultrasound to observe the status of the eggs at any time. When the diameter of the egg reaches 20mm and the content of urinary estrogen reaches 100-200mg within 24 hours, 5000 to 10000 units of HCG can be injected the day after the last injection of this product to promote ovulation. For women who still have not become pregnant, they can continue to receive treatment for 2 cycles.

If the urinary estrogen content exceeds 200ug within 24 hours, HCG should not be used again to avoid excessive irritation. If ovulation still does not occur, the injection volume should be increased to 3-4 injections per day under the detection of urine estrogen or B-ultrasound. The treatment time for most patients should not exceed 10 days. It should be noted that the treatment time for most patients should be less than ten days. If only FSH is used, the initial injection volume should be 150 units, once a day.
