Down syndrome babies must have symptoms

Due to the deterioration of the surrounding environment and the impact of the environment and diet on the modern human body, what every pregnant mother is most worried about is whether the baby in her belly is healthy. Among them, Down syndrome screening is an indispensable step in prenatal examination. Although every "sugar baby" is an angel, the burden and trauma brought to a family are indelible. Many mothers will observe whether their baby's behavior is abnormal during the infant stage. What are the necessary symptoms of a baby with Down syndrome?

Down syndrome babies must have symptoms

1. Posture hindrance. Generally, during infancy, Down syndrome babies will show that the upper and lower sides of their bodies are not the same, and they cannot hold their heads straight like normal babies. They often tilt their heads to one side or shake them up and down.

2. Intellectual disability. It is the most typical and also the easiest to ignore. It is usually impossible to detect IQ in infancy, especially in patients before one year old, which can only be detected through genetic testing. However, if stuttering, speech difficulties and other problems occur after one year old, it should be paid attention to, because the child may have Down syndrome, and also manifest as inability to speak by himself and cannot speak normally.

3. Facial obstruction. Because the baby's face often has muscle spasms, the baby will often cry and laugh, and cannot swallow or swallow when eating. Sometimes the face will twitch slightly, and some postures will be repeated. Generally, through observation, it will be found that the front teeth and lips are smaller than those of normal babies, and the eyes are squinting upwards;

4. Human body obstruction. Generally, children with Down syndrome are born with shorter bodies, abnormalities in their respiratory and digestive tracts, and cannot function normally. Therefore, the digestive system is easily infected with bacteria, which leads to some diseases, such as loose front teeth and congenital heart disease, which are diseases that most patients will experience.
