Threatened abortion is one of the common maternal diseases, and there are many reasons for it. For many pregnant women, one of the most worrying news to hear during pregnancy is hearing about miscarriage. In fact, before it became popular, pregnant women would experience corresponding symptoms, which is what we often call threatened abortion. What would happen if there was a threatened miscarriage? If you have symptoms of threatened miscarriage and do not carry out pregnancy preservation and treatment in time, you are likely to have miscarriage. Because threatened abortion cannot be treated simply by bed rest, if progesterone is low, luteal copper should also be supplemented. Threatened abortion must be taken seriously. Generally speaking, any symptoms such as abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, and cervical dilation within 28 weeks of pregnancy are called threatened abortion, within 12 weeks of pregnancy are called early threatened abortion, and after that are called late threatened abortion. The specific manifestation of threatened abortion is vaginal bleeding during pregnancy. Depending on the amount of bleeding and the time it accumulates in the female vagina, the color can be red, light pink or dark red. Sometimes it is accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain, a feeling of falling when the baby moves, and back pain and abdominal distension. Gynecological examination can reveal that the cervix is not dilated, the size of the uterus is consistent with the number of weeks of amenorrhea, and no pregnancy products are discharged. After bed rest and related tocolysis treatment, the clinical symptoms disappear and pregnancy can be attempted again. If symptoms such as vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain or backache continue to worsen, they may further develop into inevitable miscarriage. About half of patients with threatened abortion will experience miscarriage, because excessive bleeding may cause infection, or even sepsis and death. Therefore, if you experience any symptoms of threatened miscarriage, you must go to the hospital for examination immediately. Especially if vaginal bleeding occurs during the first three months of pregnancy, you should go to the hospital for a physical examination as soon as possible and there is no need to take care of the fetus at home. |
