What are the symptoms of ovulation?

What are the symptoms of ovulation?

The trouble for girls, apart from their monthly menstruation, is discharge. Sometimes, excessive leucorrhea with an odor can make the lower body feel damp and cold, making you uncomfortable all day long. The secretion is the female secretion of women during the ovulation period. Normal female secretions are a colorless, odorless, slightly acidic and alkaline thick substance that has the functions of moistening the vagina, excreting waste, and inhibiting the growth of bacteria. It is a normal physiological phenomenon. So what symptoms will a girl have when she has discharge during ovulation?

During ovulation, the secretion of female hormones reaches its peak, the amount of cervical mucus is the largest, and the elasticity is also the largest. There are often thin strips of secretions, which can sometimes be as long as more than ten centimeters. At this time, the female lower body is the wettest. When the strip-like secretion is discharged, there will be a slippery feeling. During ovulation, the secretion of this type of cervical mucus can last for about 2-3 days, which is the time when women feel the coldest.

After ovulation, the uterus and ovaries secrete (progesterone), which prevents the secretion of a large amount of cervical mucus, reduces leucorrhea, and the lower body becomes dry. After about 10 days, menstruation occurs. In the 1-2 days before the start of menstruation, the secretions increase slightly, but not as crystal clear and sticky as during ovulation. The change from the wet area of the female lower body to the dry area caused by the amount of female leucorrhea is the regular change of secretions.

Close to the ovulation period, the secretions can become clear, smooth and quite elastic, like egg white, with increased wire drawing degree and not easy to tear. The last day of the appearance of this kind of mucus, around 48 hours is the ovulation period. Women's ovulation period is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, a total of 10 days within the ovulation period, the ovulation period. The other time outside the menstrual period is called the safe menstrual period.

There may also be blood in the leucorrhea during ovulation, and its main symptoms are as follows:

1. Abnormal uterine bleeding. During the physiological cycle with ovulation, abnormal uterine bleeding occurs during ovulation. The bleeding is less, and sometimes only brown secretion is present. It usually stops on its own in 2-3 days, and up to 7 days.

2. Abdominal pain. Regular intermenstrual pain can be mild or frequent, usually lasting for several hours, and in some patients it can last for 2-3 days.

3. Infertility. It may be caused by interrupting the couple's sex life due to ovulation bleeding, resulting in missed chance of pregnancy. Note: Generally there are no significant positive signs. The diagnosis can be made by diagnostic curettage, temperature measurement during ovulation (body temperature is biphasic during ovulation, with bleeding occurring when low and high temperatures change), and laparoscopy. If the symptoms are mild, no treatment is needed. If there is heavy bleeding or fertility problems, medication can be used for treatment.

In addition, many friends can't distinguish the ovulation period and the safe menstruation period, but we can distinguish them according to the symptoms of secretions. If you still don't know what is normal secretion during ovulation, you can take a look at the above answers, I hope it can help you.
