Symptoms of brain cancer in women

Symptoms of brain cancer in women

In recent years, with the increase in the incidence of cancer, cancer is no longer a disease that is far away from us. Many people are diagnosed with cancer every day and even die from cancer. Therefore, we must be proactive in preventing cancer. So what are the common early symptoms of cancer in women?

1. Abdominal bloating

Many women find bloating extremely common and nothing to get upset about. However, this could be a symptom of ovarian cancer. Persistent abdominal bloating, discomfort and pain, stomach upset, difficulty eating or being very hungry for several weeks may be a sign of ovarian cancer.

2. Breast lumps

If women find that the skin of their breasts is red or has lumps, they should be extra careful. "Especially if you have a rash on your breast that persists for a few weeks, you should get it checked out," said oncologist Dr. Hannah Linden. In addition, she emphasized that for women who are not breastfeeding, nipple dimpling and frequent discharge are all bad signs.

3. Irregular bleeding

British oncologist Dr. Daly said that abnormal vaginal bleeding and blood in the stool and urine during the menstrual cycle are easily ignored by women. They are likely to be a major symptom of endometrial cancer, a common gynecological cancer. At least 3/4 of women with such symptoms are diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Bleeding in the stool may be a sign of colon cancer.

4. Lymph node transformation

Dr. Linden said that no matter where on the body, especially in the armpits or neck, lymph nodes appear, do not take chances. If the lymph nodes continue to enlarge for more than one month, it may be a symptom of breast cancer or brain cancer.

5. Fever

Fever is usually caused by influenza, pneumonia or other inflammation, however, fever with unknown cause may be a dangerous sign. Cancer Research UK says fever often occurs when cancer spreads to other organs in the body. Blood cancers such as lymphoma and sepsis are also symptoms of fever.
