What are the harms of sterilization surgery to women?

Vasectomy refers to the use of certain methods, such as electrocoagulation, clamps, rings, etc., to perform vasectomy or sterilization on the body to achieve the actual effect of permanent contraception. Generally speaking, if a woman undergoes a vasectomy and the surgery is done successfully, it will not have any significant impact on her body. Therefore, female friends do not need to worry too much. Generally, after the operation, it is enough for the wound to heal.

Female sterilization is also called tubal ligation. The development of this surgery has a history of more than a hundred years. At the same time, it is one of the most commonly used methods by Chinese women. The contraceptive principle is to block the bilateral fallopian tube passages so that sperm cannot combine with eggs, thereby achieving the purpose of contraception.

There are two applicable scopes for tubal ligation: first, if the woman is married and already has children, and the couple voluntarily applies for sterilization; second, if the woman has severe heart disease, heart failure, chronic renal disease with poor renal function and some genetic diseases and is not suitable for pregnancy, she can also undergo this surgery to achieve the effect of infertility.

Its contraindications are as follows: first, it cannot be performed on patients with abdominal skin infection or sexual organ infection; second, the body is very weak and cannot tolerate the operation, for example, postpartum hemorrhage, shock, heart failure, etc.; third, it cannot be performed on patients whose body temperature is above 37.5 degrees for two consecutive times within 24 hours; fourth, it is not suitable for operation during pregnancy; fifth, the operation should be postponed for patients with serious mental illness.
